"Earth To ECHO" ~ Fun through the eyes of a group of teenagers that are fast friends in an ever changing society full of technology (present day).
Story line premise is fun and quirky...you can't help but like these awkward and geeky teens as they are guided to an Alien being that has crashed it's space ship on Earth!
Great special effects in the last 1/2 hour of the movie...before it's all about the teens...
Enjoy!

My family and I were a little skeptical about this movie initially based on earlier reviews, but am I glad we went anyway. It is a truly fun, and entertaining movie, that was enjoyable by the entire family. My kids talked about the movie for days after we saw it and were eagerly anticipating its release on Blu-Ray so that we could see it again.

I had seen previews of this movie, but did not do any research on it. My granddaughter and I watched this together and we both enjoyed it. It's not what I expected, which kind of sounds silly, but I / we both enjoyed th storyline of the kids/friends journey. I think that I would like to watch this a second time with my granddaughter

I thought this was a well made children's movie fro 'tweeners that had all of the wonder of the original E.T. but not as much fear nor violence of the Spielberg original unedited version. It was a thinking chid's movie. I would recommend this to those who CAN discern between fact and fiction but who still maybe believe.

I'm an avid movie watcher and thought for the price this would be worth it. It seemed ok, but the plot was ho-hum, typical and predictable. Cute story just wouldn't have made my collection. Not sure if kids younger than 7 should watch, depending on their fear level. My 5 year old niece would be scared.

Theres was not too much money invest in this movie, for certain moments camera angles and formats seem to be homemade. The little actors in there make a good team in accompany with an adorable and stylize echo, wich the kids love also. The sequence of the movie invites you to stay until the end.

I had high expectations for this movie that had been described as the "next ET". I did not find it outstanding and nowhere close to ET and also the manner in which it was filmed was a bit annoying for me. But Echo is cute so that helped and I didn't mind watching the movie to the end.

The laptop I got my son was a great price, and for what he wants to do (play games online), it is awesome. The ease of him using it is good, and he has taught himself more on it than I can help him with. He set it up easily and quickly and we haven't had any problems with it so far.

This movie is a very entertaining movie. It is geared toward the ages of 7 through 12. Children younger than that may have difficulty relating to the theme. It is, however a very cute movie. It seems to be on the order of another ET., just not quite as pronounced as the ET version.

This is the E.T. of the newer generation. While it doesn't contain the same magic that made E.T. the amazing classic it is, this movie is fun for the whole family. If they hadn't have relied solely on the 'found footage' method of filming, this movie could easily have been amazing.

This movie was good for the younger kids I think, following a pack of young friends around with a camera that will soon be separated by moving and video documenting their last evening together helping a space alien to their surprise. The message at the end was a good one for them.

My wife really wants to see this at the theater but we didn't get a chance to. So when it came out on Blu-Ray, I had to get it so we can watch it. We thought the movie was cute. Movie is like a modern version of E.T. The downloadable app was pretty awesome. I had fun with it.

I enjoyed the movie. It's a story told through the eyes of young boys around 8 - 12 years old. And that's the audience that this movie is best suited to. Younger than that will likely be bored but older than that should have the patience to watch and perhaps enjoy.

This is a really cute show, but it wasn't what we were expecting. It's done through the view of a camera which is a bit distracting. Also there really wasn't a whole lot of scenes with Echo. It was more about the boys who found him.

A So-So Shaky Cam Movie That's Worth a Watch

Like many movies previously done, Earth to Echo is filmed in a first person point of view from a group of kids who discover an an Alien Map and follow it to discover an alien in need of assistance to get his ship fixed and get back home, while the government tries to track him down to study him...of course.
The movie is ok, not the best. Its kind of a simplified version of Super 8, which was an excellent movie.
The acting in this by some of the boys is just terrible. The storyline is serviceable and the alien itself is pretty cool.
The Blu Ray boasts excellent HD quality and includes a handful of special features. Worth at least one watch.

Earth to echo is not a movie about echo its a movie about friendship and how it doesn't matter how far away the person is to have a bond. To me this movie is about how love and friendship can travel across the universe.

Earth To Echo is easily this generation's ET! It's not just a fun sci-fi flick, but there is some very deep and emotional content about friendship and struggles that kids these days go through. Great movie for kids and adults alike. Every time my stepson and I hear a cell phone ring like the movie we look at each other and go "Echo! Echo!" Watch the movie and you'll get that reference. :)
