after hearing their demo- in which all 5 songs are included and redone on this cd. chris barnes voice took a total turn to deep cookie monster style vocals. i still enjoy the music - shredded humans is a great opening track but my review is for the actual cd itself that i received...i rordered this cd two times and had to return both of them. i will include photos so you can see the issue i opened the package the first time and noticed - it had the correct back insert for eaten back to life but the front booklet was for their butchered at birth cd- called got replacement sent - already new this would happen again---opened the package same issue . i even ordered this same cd from amazon - same thing happen all 3 times - correct back insert -wrong front booklet i wonder if i ordered the butchered at birth cd if i would get the front booklet for the eaten back to life cd...haha not going to try since i already own butchered at birth. so please be aware if you order the Eaten back to life Cd with bonus live track and bonus video--- you will most likely receive the one in the photos - this cd is recommended to all death metal fans

this review is not for the music- for the actual cd that i received the music is crushing how can you go wrong with cannibal corpse with chris barnes on vocals but i bought this cd thinking i was getting eaten back to life well i opened the package and the booklet was for butchered at birth never opened it just returned it same thing happened when i ordered it off amazon had to order it on ebay from someone who had correct photos of the cd

This was cannibal corpse"s first album,and what a great way to start their carreer.If you don't like real heavy metal(such as lamb of god or slipknot),you will not like this album.But for those who do, this album is going to be your life.The album has very very explicit content.The album features Bob Rusay and Jack Owen on guitar(and these guys know how to shred),Chris Barnes on vocals,Alex Webster on bass,and Paul Mazurkiewicz on drums.Whats great about this album is that it's got amazing guitar riffs,amazing drum beats,and amazing basslines.There is nothing bad to say about the album.For more information on the album go to wikipedia.com, then search "eaten back to life".And for more information on the band go to "cannibal corpse.com".
