This does a great job for making bread. It has a large platform that will hold a good sized bowl. It is more accurate to measure flour and other dry ingredients by weight, rather than using measuring cups. With the tare function, this scale makes it easy to weigh flour and other ingredients when making your own bread. Very accurate and easy to clean.

I love this scale! It is very accurate. I have used all of the settings and they work great. The numbers are big. The part where you weigh the food is a great size. I have used several different scales, and this is the best.

I am so glad I purchased this scale. It is very easy to use and takes up minimal space in my kitchen. Has a variety of measuring volumes. Just started using a Fitbit about 5 weeks ago and this has been extremely helpful when calculating caloric intake.

I liked the quality looking metal, so I chose this over other plastic ones with comparable features. I like that you can have the scale zero out with a cup or bowl on the scale so there's no guess work when adding stuff to a mix. This scale also can be used for heavier objects than some other scales. I also use this to weigh postal packages (although this isn't meant for that purpose). Lastly, I like that it has a low profile so stores easy in my kitchen shelving.

Bought this because my wife and I buy food in bulk and then we break everything down into separate meals and vacuum pack everything. We use to just eyeball everything but we were getting mixed portions and this definitely fit the bill to fixing that issue. The Tare function makes the clean up much simpler so we can put a large bowl on the scale keeping everything in that rather then all over the scale.

I really like this scale. It took me a moment or 2 to figure out how to weigh the plate & then be at 0 for the food. But it is very nice looking, too.

Bought this scale when our old one quit working. Has a big readout & large area to weigh food. Works well so far.

Great scale...has worked great so far. The finish is easy to keep clean being that it is all stainless steel. The feature to subtract the container weigh is a nice option when you weighing stuff inside a container..The price was great also!!

I haven't had it long enough yet to see what might go wrong with it. Compared to an analog scale, it is very easy to use. It is large enough to accommodate most any size bowl or a reasonably large plate to weigh items, instead of having its own special bowl to weigh food items in. Still, it isn't so large that it takes up too much space or is very heavy. The ability to "zero" (tare) the scale to any plate with a push of a button is very easy. Sure, you have to eventually replace the 4 AAA batteries, but being battery-powered makes it very portable - I'm not limited to using it on this or that counter space in my kitchen, as I would with a plug-in one. The booklet that comes with the scale, giving calorie factors for many different foods is very helpful. My first impressions give it 5 stars, and I hope to not have any problems with it that would take any stars away.

Seems to be a very good unit. Very quick delivery to my home. Would like to see a power jack so an AC Adapter can be used in place of batteries. Useful for when many items are being weighed or for use of many hours at a time.

Company blocked by Amazon review so: About a year after I bought it, the scale failed to give a true weight measurement and continued to be about 7 pounds too low. One and a half years earlier I lost 20 pounds in two weeks due to a kidney infection which resulted in two weeks hospitalization, pneumonia, and lung intubation so I was scared to death. Contrary to their claims it does not recover and re-gain true calibration. Repeat: it does not automatically re-calibrate. Beware. I stored it standing on edge and covered with a towel but that should NOT disorient the machine. Again: beware.
