I had a slight issue hooking it up as one of my old thermostat wires did not provide enough voltage but ecobee support walked me through connecting the PEK and it powered up immediately. easy to set up and easy to use.

Had a Nest and the "Learning" thermostat was inconsistent at best for our crazy schedules. The Ecobee3 has been perfect with its smart sensors that can tell when you are in a room and what room you are in. I plan on buying more sensors. We have an office that gets really hot in the summer, and a sensor there would enable the thermostat to kick on the air more when we're in there. It is simple to use, yet doesn't dumb things down to a flaw like Nest does. You still have advanced configurations where you can adjust compressor off times, etc.

I wanted a wi-fi connected thermostat that would be able to measure temperatures in more than one location of the house. So far, this has worked perfectly.

I purchased two thermostats and installed both in less than 30 minutes. Both work flawlessly and the remote access from the app is great.

This is so great! If I forget to leave the A/C on I can just turn it on from my phone anywhere. Works perfectly and is a snap to install

its a great tool to have love the feature where I can set my temp before I leave work so I can come home to my desired temp. Love it.

Very easy installation. Looks great in the wall. Included all the wires needed. New software upgrade make it more fun to look saving!

Been waiting for a thermostat to use a remote sensor. I love the ecobee3! Easy to install and fluid and very useful features.

I LOVE my thermostat! My home is cooler than before and my AC is running less. Love the monthly reports and total control!

I wish the app had all the functionality of the website. The app is primarily just to control the thermostat, set schedules, etc. To view any of the stats the thermostat provides, you have to login to the Ecobee website.

Easy to install and work well. Simply GUI. The temperature detected from Ecobee is few degrees less than my old thermostat - when I put two side by side, my old one showed 65 degree when Ecobee showed 68. So I had to turn Ecobee to 70 to get to where I used to turn my thermostats to (68). Not a big deal and not sure which one is righter. Just in case the reader of this review wonder why the room is colder or warmer than prior to install Ecobee.

This thermostat is awesome, a lots of features and smart makes it the best on the market.

Love this item because you can view everything on your phone doesn't matter what room your in or better yet you don't even have to be home to turn it on or off.

The wealth of information you get from this device will amaze you. You can create custom schedules or use the defaults for when your home, away or on vacation. The added wireless sensor allows a dual zone setup in a home that does not have one. I would highly recommend this device to anyone.
