Exactly what I was after

Visibility into when and how my hvac is running is useful in deciding how I want to manage my comfort and expense. Only hiccup was Rheem heat pumps are one of the few that reverse the valve opposite most brands so it took a couple days to determi e I needed to change that setting on the ecobee from the default.

Best Smart Thermostat

Best Smart Home purchase ever!! Temp control has never been more precise with the room sensors. The system quickly detects and alerts problems and send reminders for maintenance. The added built in Alexa is a bonus plus. Hand down better than the competitors

Worth the money

I was missing the necessary wires and new wiring had to be run to my new furnace. It is kind of hard to compare gas saving since the outside temperature varies so wildly from year to year. But what I can say unequivocally is that my house is way more comfortable in all 3 levels, 2nd floor , 1st floor and the basement. Definitely worth the price.

Great investment purchase

Meaning, Alexa is included with a speaker. I had a feeling that would be an issue, figuring I could just connect it to my sound system via bluetooth. Not the case. I'm pretty savvy and am having issues with the geofence and schedule, but El figure it out. Instalation was simple, something I was grateful for. So overall, not a bad purchase. ..I'm sure it will pay for itself soon in the electricity bill.

Great smart thermostat w/Alexa built in
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Primarily bought this for the remote room sensors that help average out the temperature when you have cold/hot spots. Better than the competition when it comes to historical statistics of heat/AC use. The built in Alexa is nice, but it's been a bit unreliable, crashing or getting hung up when trying to execute simple commands. You may be better off getting the ecobee3 (not light), especially if you have a bunch of Echo Dots already deployed.
