I had Nest 2nd Generation Learning Thermostat prior of getting Ecobee. The battery of the Nest is not replaceable and after 3 years I had to get a new Thermostat. Since I wasn't happy with Nest I decided to try Ecobee. The "learning" of Nest was always annoying to me and my wife. It seemed like Nest was always trying to minimize our electrical bill by trying to increase the home temperature to uncomfortable levels. It was a constant adjustment, which was always annoying. We even try to disable the learning, but it didn't seem to have an affect. With ecobee we are again enjoying the AC as it should be. I recommend it 100 times over Nest!

I've tried several thermostats & this is by far the nicest & easiest to setup & use. The app is great & if you don't have Alexa, it's a nice extra perk. Highly recommend.

I had my HVAC guy install 2 in my home. I was fortunate to have had the necessary wiring. They installed in minutes and were ver rsd to set up. I have not enabled too many of the bells and wistles yet. However, I just learned there is an app that turns the sensors into a security system! I do love the built in Alexa and the remote heating features. We had a digital thermostat and were considering purchasing a smart thermostat and an Echo. This is what we ended up buying and are very happy!

This was a great addition to our home. The multiple sensors allows the thermostat the best way to adjust the temperature. The ability to set a schedule also allow us to save energy during the day. For the geofencing feature, I wish it would track multiple phones as my husband and I have slightly differing schedules. The integrated Alexa also adds an extra voice assistant into our home. After my experience with Google assistant and Alexa, I believe Alexa to be the best developed voice assistant currently. My only complaint is that is that it can't track if my dog is in a room because he's a little guy.

Nothing but the best from this company any their product. I got my E3 on preorder and never looked back. Like every other house in America, my thermostat is in the hallway. Who cares about the temperature in the hallway? I wanted my children's rooms to be the priority and after searching endlessly for remote thermostats and every other solution Ecobee solved my problem for me with the E3. Remote sensors just make sense, and now my wife and I can sleep soundly knowing that out children are cool and comfortable. A great company with the best customer service and relations I have ever encountered.

I had the Ecobee3 at another house and chose the 4 for my new home and I am so glad I did! I love the Alexa functionality and the app is terrific and easy to use.

Top smart thermostat that puts thermostat control at the tip of your fingers and gives you scenarios and themes for comfort. I have had mine for 2 years and it is great, reliable and very responsive.

I installed this in our home after moving from an apartment with a Nest, and so far I find ecobee4 to be much more reliable and easy to use.

I needed to buy a thermostat because we added a fireplace to our living room. I didn't want the heat from the fireplace to turn the thermostat off and make the rest of the house cold. Using the sensor that comes with, this was a great solution. I first bought this product after returning the Nest because customer service would not help with the wiring of the thermostat. I am very glad I did. Customer service made wiring the thermostat effortless, unlike the competitor. Thermostat and 1 sensor installed for 2 weeks now, very happy.

used to have a Nest 2 earlier, upgraded to an ecobee 4 and could not be happier. Was able to tie in my AprilAire Humidifier to be controlled by the thermostat and added a sensor in each room (4 more) so i could control the Keen vents in each room using these sensors. Love the Amazon echo integration and easy for us to add stuff to the shopping list or check weather without buying another echo unit.

Purchased my Ecobee4 from Best Buy. Installation was surprisingly easy after viewing several videos and following the accompanying instructions. I stalled out on the Registration process and called customer support. I reached an agent right away and he walked me thru it. After several failed attempts to register and get the app to work, he said they were having difficulty with Android devices and asked if I had a different email address. I told him I had a Gmail account which I had never used and he said let's try it. I told him it was still Android but we tried it anyway and it worked! Only problem now is Ecobee thinks my email is a gmail address which I never use. Not sure how that will end up. I later opened the web portal and after logging in with my normal email I get a "Welcome Bill" with a request for the 4 letter code (which I had fortunately written down.) to register my thermostat. However, it said the code was incorrect. Today is the 3rd day I have been calling Ecobee always with a response of all agents are busy and asked to either leave a message or a call back #. I've left my number 3 times in 3 days with no call back. As I indicated I like the thermostat and the features but if I can't get on the web portal where all the usage data is available, I may have to return it to Best Buy and exchange for a Nest.

Ecobee 4 is simply the best. Simple to install, simple to use and it is great to have Alexia as part of the thermostat. Don't tell Siri I said that. Just the other day my Ecobee emailed me and reminded me to change my filter. How great is that. That is just one of the many features of the Ecobee 4. Look no further, Ecobee was the first and it is still the best.

I love our new ecobee4 thermostat. I can control it at home at the thermostat, on the couch through Alexa, or from my phone when im away from home. I love the fact that it shows me what percentage our humidity is. Living in Florida and having control of our humidity is wonderful! This thermostat does so much its too much to list. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

been a month - works great Need a c wire for installation

I was in 2 minds in buying Ecobee(EB) instead of Nest. I'm glad I persisted with EB4. This little device has out of the box integration with Alexa(pretty much acts like Amazon Echo dot). Added advantage is its integration with Sensors - This really has been a nice addition to my house - helps monitor my heating bills.

Ecobee took their fantastic Ecobee3 thermostat, with built-in smart features and a great user-interface, and integrated Alexa while sculpting the form factor into something even more beautiful to have on the wall. Even major competitors like Nest can't match all the features for the price that Ecobee offers.
