Alright, I admittedly do not use this for traditional last mile transport. Most of the time I use it so that I don't have to park my car downtown and pay for parking or get my baby all dinged. That said, I freaking love this thing! It is so much fun and pretty efficient, even for a big lead-foot like me. Typically I take it on 2-6 mile round trips with a stop midway for lunch, dinner, drinks, or whatever. Batter always has plenty to go and I pretty much ride at full throttle all the time. For reference I am about 215lbs and 6'1" tall. I have gotten it multiple times up to a speed of 21mph (faster than EcoReco says it should go) on flat smooth surface roads. It takes a little distance to get to that point, but 0-15mph is reasonably quick. Most people seem to state that a range of about 8 miles is about the limit, and I would agree that sounds about right. But to be fair that is going full throttle everywhere. EcoReco clearly states that limiting speed to around 12mph extends range. This thing has become my weekend transport and I really enjoy it. I love to drive, but this thing just makes life effortless, especially around town.

If you wanna grin ear to ear take this to your nearest well-lit shopping center parking lot at 11PM and carve it up. You will feel the wind in your hair and see the speed that this thing can do. 20 to 25MPH on a Razor-styled scooter! Best Buy only sells the Front Tire Air version which is fine and actually good for absorbing bumps and cracks. I will be buying the hard front tire though as I can appreciate the dependability of an airless tire. The scooter takes about 6 hours to charge or 4 hours to get the battery to 80%. The only cons I can find so far is that in order to set the scooter to travel max speed, you have to disassemble the units deck and unplug some wires. Kind of a messy process if you ask me. Once you do it however you wont have to do it again. The next thing is the accessory screw cover in the middle of the handlebars. The screw cover is plastic and broke instantly when I tried to remove it. Upon calling Eco Reco, I learned that this accessory cover has been discontinued and the new design is a rubber cover. They said they'd ship one out to me though. Their customer service is really good, They actually answer the phone there. No operators or prompts. Amazing in this day and age. This scooter is highly recommended.

High rolling deck, stable handlebars, and comfortable handlebar grips make this a sweet ride. I get 10 miles per charge but good enough for daily commute. 1st unit had a problem w/ the brake not releasing after being pressed but I sent it back and will be getting a new one soon!

Scooter performs great, is stable and sporty. All in all a product I would buy again.

I've never thought getting to work would be this much fun! Usually it would take so long to get to work, but now that I can ride this thing and avoid a lot of traffic, it takes me less than 15 minutes to get to work! I would definitely have to say that the price is a little steep, but with all of the gas I am saving it totally makes up for it.

I believe the scooter was defective Because it would not fully charge. Plus it was riding really slow. And the display was damage on delivery. So my experience was pretty bad.

I Purchased this EcoReco M5 not too long ago and it was great the first month but after two months everything just started to go wrong. My display/throttle stopped turning on. Best Buy does not have mechanics for the scooters and i was outside of the return period. I was forced to go to another store in NYC for the repairs which was expensive. A week later the scooter would not turn on i returned to the shop that had repaired it, this time it was a blow fuse. regardless the fuse being $4 its been a headache ever since, it makes squeaking noise and the brake is loose. I contacted EcoReco they did not want to warranty any parts. Please stay away from this headache its totally not worth it.
