I bought this due to its second highest ratings in consumer reports, but bit apprehensively because the overall user reviews are lower than other competitors. It works well. Had no problem with WiFi connection that many users complained about. It detects stairs well. Does a pretty good job of vacuuming. No complaints so far. A bigger dustbin would have been nice.

I bought this for my 78 year old mom. She has a single room, garage apartment and hated vacuuming. We plugged this in, pushed a button and it just started cleaning the floor. It cleaned under the bed, around the legs of the table and all over. The only place it didn't fit was under her couch. I've set up the schedule from my phone and now it will automatically start while she's at church. The only thing I'll have to make sure she's doing is emptying the container of dust.

We have tries Neeto 2x and Rumba 2x. this is our first time with Ecovacs. the app and info isn't as good but all i really need is for it to clean. the dirt bin seems smaller but we have not filled it up on a run yet. It is kind of stubborn with areas you want to keep it out of since there is no invisible wall or magnetic strip you can use to keep it in the area you want to clean. But is cost less with the one day deal.

Great at getting all the everyday dirt and dust from walking and foot traffic. Wish it was a little quieter but hey its a vacuum.. Wifi and phone feature are super cool.... Great value for price

After researching this particular product via a consumer magazine and online service, it was rated as second to the best; it seems to live up to it's recommendation and particularly for the price paid for a remote cleaner.

This robotic vac has performed decently except for one glaring weakness. I can't connect it to my Wifi. There are other negative reviews on this which I read before my purchase, however I figured they were all or mostly user error. But, after following all of the directions and troubleshooting steps to the letter, mine will not connect. The company's response was to ship the unit back to them and they would send me a new one. Fine I guess, other than that means I am without a vac for an undetermined period of time. Now, you can still clean your floors with this problem, and it does a decent job of that, but programming the unit or having it begin remotely from another location is either difficult or impossible.

It was a gift for mother ans she is so pleased with this, very easy and durable cleans perfectly.

Easy to set up and operate. The app makes it easy to access and operate on my schedule.

I love my Ecovac Deebot M88. It picks up alot of dirt.

We are happy but still getting use to the unit. Everything is working as described in the very easy to follow instructions.

This was our first purchase, was a great price. It works great. We emptied the bin after a few uses, very impressed with the dust in bin.

I owned two Roomba's and they were great. The Deebot goes half the time of my Roombas.

I am always thinking about to purchase a robot vac, however, I just cannot make up my mind to buy one. And this time, one of my friend strongly recommend me to have a look at this brand, as she has a similar one with this brand, as it works amazing! I also went to have a try before I place this order, its excellent working performance also surprise me which finally let me make up my mind to purchase it! I received it about a few weeks already, and I almost use it every day! It is smart enough to avoid the furniture and also can clean the floor very well, the most amazing thing is it cannot only vacuum the house but also mop the floor! I think you will love it!

I got this robot and am I glad I got it. I'm not a big fan of cleaning or vacuuming I should say and I turn it on and let it run when I go out and I come back and find it in its dock full of dust. I am not sure if it will replace my up right but if I don't have to vacuum every day or as often as I usually do, I'm happy. I also like the function of controlling it from the app which allows me not have to get up from the couch :).

Unable to connect to router. Tech support unable to help me. even when escalated to to higher level of support they were not helpful. They just e-mailed a generic trouble shooting response and when I ask for more help they just sent me automated responses. Also the return to dock button did not work.
