We recently purchased a home that has tile floor downstairs and vinyl plan flooring upstairs. Even though we we take our shoes off inside and wear flip-flops, the floor can never stay clean! Luckily, I got the opportunity to get my hands on the new ECOVACS Robotics - N30 PRO OMNI Robot. Boy am I happy this came up. As soon as I got the ECOVACS Robotics - N30 PRO OMNI Robot in, I put this little puppy to work. The initial setup is jut like any other smart vaccum device. Download the app, follow a few simple instructions, add water and your preferred floor cleaning product, assemble the cleaning pads under the robot, and you are on your way to cleaner floors. The first thing that the ECOVACS Robotics - N30 PRO OMNI Robot does is create a map layout of your house. So, put away any objects that may be on the floor. The ECOVACS Robotics - N30 PRO OMNI Robot has been a life saver. It has really cut down cleaning time a lot, and I can turn it on whenever, from wherever. It has done a great job at cleaning near/around bigger objects, like the couch. The fact that it is also vacuming the floors is a MAJOR plus! I would highly recommend the ECOVACS Robotics - N30 PRO OMNI Robot to anyone!

This is a great multifunctional vacuum robot that actually mops/spot mops your floor! This Ecovacs N30 pro does a great job at just about everything. Great object avoidance from my week of using it. The vacuum keeps every bit of my floor clean. I run the vacuum every morning and mop once a week and I haven’t had any issues with this vacuum what so ever. The clean water tank is easy to remove and fill with water. Along with the dirty water take. It’s easy to remove and empty when it’s time to do so. The vacuum bags are easily replaceable too. The audial cues the vacuum gives off as it’s doing its route when there might be an issue is a great feature IMO. I’ve had a few robot vacuums over the years and so far this Ecovac has impressed me the most with its cleaning ability. It’s quiet too when running its course and then when it reaches the base station to empty its bin. That too is much quieter than a previous competitor product. Very impress. I really love the spot mop feature as I have a couple dogs that make a mess from time to time and drip water everywhere and the vacuum makes quick work of everything. Very happy.

I have used several robot vacuums over the years, and I am a big fan of them. Robot vacuums help you not just clean but incentivize you to keep the house organized enough that they can function to their full potential. They can be a real game changer for your cleaning routine, or an added pain because they keep messing up. I’ve had a mostly good experience with the N30 Pro Omni. Setup: Setting up was very similar to other robot vacs I’ve used in the past. You use an app to create a map of your house and then its broken down into rooms so you can instruct the vacuum to clean specific rooms if you want. The app will also notify you if an issue occurs while vacuuming and you can even add areas to avoid. For example, after a week of use I know the vacuum gets tripped up bad around my dining table. So, I drew an area on the map to avoid my dining table. The vac and docking station were super simple to physically set up. Cleaning/Use: The cleaning with this robot vac is basically the best I’ve ever seen. The combination of vacuuming plus mopping is very effective and Ecovacs implemented this very well. The only weakness I can say I noticed is that it clogs frequently with pet hair. We have a white dog that sheds a solid amount and every now and then the vacuum would clog and I would have to go remove the hair. This is the case with most robot vacuums, but Ecovacs is marketing it as pet hair capable. If you are banking on this being a pet hair sucking machine without hiccups then you will be dissatisfied with the performance. However, if you have a pet with very mild shedding or no pet at all, then I think you will love it. Outside of pet hair problems, its produced very good results. Keep in mind that no robot vacuum can replace a deep cleaning that a person with attention to detail could produce. What this vacuum can do is keep the floors maintained for significantly longer between deep cleans. The fact it has a mop function just makes it even more effective at keeping your floors clean longer. The docking station was good too. It sucks out the dirt into its holding chamber which you can then easily empty separately. The dock then also cleans the brushes and even dries them, pretty cool. Conclusion: If you aren’t banking on this vacuum being a pet hair cleaning machine, then I think you will be very happy with this machine. The app is simple and straightforward with minor hiccups like pretty much every robot vac I’ve ever used. The docking station does a good job of keeping the vacuum functioning well. The cleaning function has been the best I’ve seen so far in a robot vacuum, and the object detection has been just as good as most others in its class. I think you will be very happy with this vacuum!

The ECOVACS Robotics - N30 PRO OMNI Robot Vacuum is really remarkable when it comes to mopping. The mopping feature is probably my favorite feature, the vacuuming feature is okay, but not the greatest, but what it does not do with vacuuming it more than makes up for with the mopping feature. This is the third robot vacuum I have used and this one by far has the other two beat on mopping. Let's start with the unboxing, first the thing is fairly large. When you think about it though it needs to be because it has a clean water tank, and a dirty water tank, plus a charging base (Don't worry they're all together when on the ground), once you get it assembled, and it's done charging (Make sure you flip the switch on the back of the dock), then you will be ready to put it to work. The neatest thing about this machine is that it will recognize carpet. We only have one rug in the house, and it lifts up the mopping pad to avoid that, and it vacuums it but will not mop it which is so amazing. Then it will continue its job throughout the house. The obstacle avoidance is okay, it has a tendency to get itself stuck under our kitchen table about 50% of the time, so I just move out a kitchen chair and then it is fine. It does tend to get stuck on a super thin rubber mat we have under the pet water bowl we have out (like it sucks it up), however, those are the only two obstacles that cause problems. It doesn't seem to have a problem with anything else in the house. Overall I'm very happy with this vacuum. Especially the mopping portion, this alone makes it worthy of five stars. The vacuuming part could definitely be better, but as previously stated it is still a great and solid machine. It's definitely a solid buy!

It's an alright product. Setup was fairly straightforward. I just had to download an app, scan the QR code on the vacuum, and then it was connected. Assembling the docking station was also easy. The amount of plastic wrap on it was kind of annoying; I had to open up the vacuum and the docking station to peel away at plastic inside. Once I got past setup though, I had some minor problems. I would turn on the auto clean function and it would start cleaning and mapping at the same time. Instead of mapping out the floor, however, it would clean for a little bit and then go back to the station, saying that the mapping failed. I then realized that there was a separate mapping function. After I ran one session of that, the entire floor was mapped. I think this could've been streamlined to allow it to map while cleaning. It does often get stuck in places it shouldn't. I have a couch and a small coffee table next to it. Every time it goes there, it always turns to the table, then to the couch, then turns 270 degrees back to the table. I have to physically move it past the couch. I think there should also be a remote control feature. I don't like how it has to clean an entire room; I'd rather also have the option to physically clean. Overall, it's an alright vacuum but has a lot of small problems, especially for the price.

I have owned several robot mop-vacs, one from a popular brand - let's say 'S' brand - and two from Ecovacs. This brand is the one I prefer! The first Ecovacs unit I tried was one of the higher-end model, a Deebot. It had a ton of great features, really kept my floors noticeably clean compared to the 'S' brand and it was beautiful to look at! However, I had a studio apartment at the time and the docking unit seemed to take up a lot of floor space. I could store a stick-vac (an 'S' brand model that I do love) in a closet in comparison, so I parted with the unit. I missed not having to make time to sweep / vacuum / mop though, so I tried a smaller robot style mop-vac by 'S' brand, but I was still always having to sweep up after it missed spots and corners! What I love about this model from Ecovacs is the smaller footprint, that it mops with HOT WATER, and it empties itself into a little reservoir inside the docking station. While no robot is ever going to mop as well as doing it manually the old-school way, I program mine to go around the house twice a day and I swear, my floors stay clean. It's the bomb and totally worth the price! The solution smells nice too, I mix a little bit of bleach in for added sanitizer since I own pets. Although I'd buy a different kind of solution going forward that costs less and has more in the bottle. In short, this in my opinion, is the best robot mop-vac brand on the market, and I highly recommend it.
