Although its no Roomba, this is a great alternative. My only complaints are that the vacuum fills up very quickly (if you have pets like I do), it has trouble getting over room dividers, and takes a while to find its home. Otherwise, my floors have never looked better.

I like it better than similar products I have used. It is quieter (doesn't freak the dog). It is shorter (doesn't get stuck as often). Still, just as powerful as others. I wish the maintenance could be less messy....emptying the bin and cleaning the brushes.

I’m really impressed with how well this vacuum cleans and how well it maneuvers. It found its way in behind an end table, couch and chair and cleaned area and found the one narrow path back out. Pretty cool. Does a good job on pet hair and food crumbs. Use it on smooth surface flooring and area rug. No issues transitioning from one to other.

While this will not take the place of a standard upright vacuum, the Deebot 79SE is awesome. It's has good suction, relatively quiet, responsive, and helpful features that allow you to automate cleaning, Love the navigation options including Alexa integration, phone app, and a standard remote. A great (and cheaper) alternative to the higher priced robot vacuums.

I had no idea that this thing would end ip making my cleaning so easy... we just moved into a new home with all wooden floor downstairs and I would sweep/ swift whatever thw never ending space like 2 or 3 times a week and had this the whole time. Once i finally got around to using this OMG, It picks up very well, it gets smarter and other than rugs that are to shaggy, especially if they are smaller ones that lift, it can go across anything with no problem. I am almost convinced that it actually has a thing for conquering carpet because it loves to clean all of the different rugs that I have downstairs. I have begun to talk to it like its a puppy, its so funny. I really hope that this company doesn't go and change something that'll take away from how great this is... I'm planning to give as gifts to special people in my life that I can benefit from one and get another for myself so it can be ready when this one burns out.

We purchased this for our hard floor areas. The patterns (circular, border) which can be set with the remote are very useful to cover all the areas and the battery also lasts long on one charge. Regular use and periodic cleaning of parts is important for consistent operation.

Nice way to avoid the time taken of vacuuming the house yourself. I can say this machine eats frilled carpets like no other. It requires some overwatch if the machine gets stuck it will beep letting you know to come and assess the situation. The dust filter is very thin and does catch quite alot of particles so clean it weekly for best use. The sweeping attachments do come off for easy cleaning. I don't think there is a smart-mapping system, just cleans randomly For extra suction use the app to activate the feature. Good luck.

I used to have a Roomba. I did not use it everyday as it was too noisy to run if I wanted to watch TV or listen to my child talk to me. This Ecovacs is so much quieter. It does a good job of cleaning my tile floors. Easy to dump the waste and clean the brushes. I love the controls.

A great value! This robot vacuum is very good at cleaning hard floors and carpet. It is extremely good at navigating around and under furniture. Its most impressive feature is it's multi cleaning modes, smart home integration and self charging features. Lastly this robot vacuum is very quiet and has good battery life.

I give this little robo vacuum 5 stars because of the price. It's awesome because of that reason. I have 2 Huskies that leave my house covered in hair and this little thing helps a lot. Now I still vacuum because it would be impossible for this little guy to clean up so much hair, but it keeps my house clean for the most part. It's not a smart vacuum so it does get stuck and has random patterns let me tell you. All in all, for the price it's worth the extra help it gives me and my pups don't seem to mind it when it's working. The reason I bought this one was because I had no idea how my pups would react to it, but luckily they don't mind it at all. Also I heard that a lot of these are fairly loud, well this one is not loud at all in my opinion. I still watch TV with it working. If you're a robo vacuum noob like me and you want to see what they are all about I suggest you start with this one.

I bought this after a recommendation (turns out the person works there) and it was affordable and on sale. It does a good job of cleaning but programming is not the best. The WiFi function stopped working after a month so I can no longer use the app but the remote still programs it. The robot takes a very long time to clean certain areas. It seems to avoid some areas and obsess over others. In the end, if I let it run long enough it cleans about 95%. I mostly use this to keep control of pet hair and crumbs on my hard wood floor. And for that it does wonders. It cleans for about 1.5 hours every other day while I’m at work. I come home and just empty the tray. I have an open floor plan FYI. They need to work on the app and ways to program room cleaning better but the purchases was definitely worth it

My wife really got into using this machine, vacuuming with it almost every day for the last two months until I asked her why so often. Well, at least it really got tested, and it still gets used about 5 days a week. Four stars instead of five stars because it occasionally gets stuck trying to get under something or high-centered on a throw-rug it flipped up the corner of. Also because this model has no "mapping" feature, which is not to be expected in this price range anyway. Having said that, we returned a BOBsweep in the same price range because if wasn't compatible with the overhang of our dishwasher and kitchen cabinets (too tall and would get stuck). The Bobsweep also got stuck going over throw rugs, and often couldn't find its way back to its charging station. This DEEBOT rarely gets stuck, almost always successfully navigates over, onto, and around throw rugs, and has a nice, low profile that allows it to go under things some other machines can't, and finds its charging station EVERY TIME! (Let me just say, "Wow.") Although the path it chooses is pretty random, it does an amazing job cleaning our not-so-straight-forward floor plan, thoroughly getting more of some rooms on one day, and then other rooms the next - almost like it knows where it hasn't been for awhile. Readers might want to know what our floor surfaces are like. Most of the house is a low-pile Berber carpet, with hardwood and some vinyl flooring and many area/throw rugs. By the way it cleans the deeper-pile throw rugs, I would say it would handle thick pile carpet just fine. The collection bin needs to be emptied after every use, and the filter cleaned about every week (not a big deal). I can't speak to the Wi-Fi app feature, because we just press the button the the remote control, and off it goes to do its thing in a pretty competent manner. I guess I can sum up our satisfaction by saying I am waiting for another sale on this machine so I can buy another for our second home.

it has some struggles at first getting to the home dock. after a few runs it did not need more than one chance to get "home". this was a great purchase for my mother in law. this vacuum picked up more dirt even after vacuuming with a stand right cleaner. quite impressive and needed for bettering the air quality. great price to.

We were not sure about this model or brand but based on all of the reviews, we went for it. The vacuum only gets stuck when it gets under the couch and tries to exit at certain angles. Other than that, it does a great job on both tile and short carpet. Great buy for the money and the discount was a bonus!

I bought it after I borrowed from friend to see result. It’s good for the price. It doesn’t have some functionality but I would definitely recommend it. Doesn’t scratch and go under furniture. Reduce manual cleaning work to 75%

Great budget robotic vacuum purchase. Has a slight curve to the rotation so doesn’t stay perfectly straight but oh well. Also WiFi connection is quite hitchy and needs reset too often. Just use the remote.

Looked at iRobot Vacs and others. This little vacuum is awesome.I bought three of them for each floor of my house. It runs twice a day and sometimes it gets hung up on certain things but overall it's great. Easy to clean out. Just be sure to clean the sensor eyes because the get dusty and they won't work.

Good enough for this price. Useful if you do not have time to vacuum yourself. It stucks so many times though

I was hesitant to purchase a robot vac, but needed to ease the household chore burden. The robot vac is a must for a pet household...I run it everyday for pet hair, tracked litter, and dragged-in grass! Also works great on those kitchen crumbs. I was unable to get this older model to work with my newer WiFi router, but I only run it while I am at home, so this was not a big deal. It will NOT work well for thick, plush carpet. Easy cleanup, always finds home base to recharge, has not scratched anything or sucked up any rugs. Cleans up under my couches and beds more often that I EVER did!

Note that this is a 'dumb' vacuum. Meaning that you can't lay out a path for it in advance. But don't worry, It goes wherever it can go and eventually gets every area. I does have good anti-fall detection so it won't be going down the steps, but if there's any room or area you don't want it go into, you will have to manually block the path (I just close the room door). It's collision detection isn't 100% so it does bump into a few item sometime. But it makes up for any shortfalls by doing what it's supposed to do, vacuum. It does a wonderful job getting up pet hair. It goes from carpet to hardwood without missing a beat. It even goes across rugs without moving or pulling them.
