This is my second robot owned. Great interface. Mapped the house plan without difficulty. Picks up pet fur without any problems. Would recommend for pet owners.

The ECOVACS Robotics Deebot Ozmo T5 would be an excellent addition to any household with any kind of flooring material. I have owned several different brands and varieties of robotic vacuums over the years and this model shows that the technology is getting better with every evolution. Setup is very quick, with a couple brushes to install and letting the unit charge up. Also, use your phone to scan the QR code on the unit to get the app for your phone, which in my situation was the Android variety. The app takes a little getting used to and you'll need to be on a 2.4ghz wifi channel, but overall is effective in showing the progress of the vacuum as it maps and then later cleans the floors. Rooms can be named or divided so that you can tell the vacuum to only sweep or mop those certain areas. It will also save different maps for different levels of the home, so it remember the layout of my first and second floors. The initial charging didn't take very long and then I had the unit begin the mapping process. It performed well with the mapping, moving at a decent pace and naigating around obstacles. The unit does move faster once it is sweeping instead of mapping. I thought it was neat that the unit will remember the room it was sweeping and the progress it made when the battery runs low, so that once it charges up it can resume precisely where it left off. Our house has a dog and a cat, so there is a decent amount of animal hair that is shed on the floor. I found the unit picked up about 95% of the hair in heavily soiled areas. In comparison to other robot vaccums I've used, this is really good. I felt it did a great job with debris and hair on both hardwood and carpeted areas. It knows when it is transitioning to a different flooring type and operates slightly differently accordingly, which is a good thing. The mopping feature worked better than I had expected! Again, with pets, there are some hard surface areas with sticky spots, and the unit did a pretty good job removing many of those spots. It wasn't perfect, but you can't use soap and it can only apply so much downward pressure. If you have a sticky spot that is really caked on with something hard, you will probably need to get out the mop, but for most sticky areas (or just to get a good shine) I felt the mopping feature was fantastic. It never became confused with obstacles or furniture. I also tried it near the stairs on the second floor of my house, and the sensing prevented it from falling down the stairs which was excellent! The initial charge lasted 4 hours, which was multiple times of sweeping and mopping. The vacuum looks very nice and runs fairly quietly. If you turn the suction up to the highest level, it is more noticeable. Overall, this is the best robotic vacuum that I have owned, and the mopping feature is a huge bonus. It will work well with any flooring type, multiple floors, and floors with obstacles. I highly reccommend this unit!

Since having this I’ve noticed less hair on the ground and dirt. We have two cats and it cleans up their messes perfectly

it's very good at cleaning, but not great at mopping. It scans the whole house my itself.

This is a nice navigation robot vacuum. I love it. I was amazed for the cleaning it does.

Got this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it she can sit down and just hit a button on her phone and it starts cleaning

Now this is impressive. It works like it should with very short set up time. App is intuitive and easy to use. Not too loud either.

This things works like a champ! I avoid my Hugh pile rugs though because it’s powerful and Shaves the edges with its brushes

This device works extremely well. Mopping feature is great. Ability to electronically control where the vacuum can and cannot go is great and works well. Only thing I wish is that it would allow you to store more than two maps in the memory. We have basement, two levels on the first floor (small step down) and an upstairs.

Love it! I have four bedroom house. The Ecovacs cleans nicely the whole house. I would recommend it.
