I was really looking forward to this event because the last 2 one night stands were great. ONS 07 is a 2 star PPV and its not even in the Hammerstein Ballroom because the REAL ECW fans would boo this out of the ballroom Match 1. (Stretcher Match)Rob Van Dam vs. Randy Orton -If you have Seen RVDs match with Sabu in a stretcher match, this dissapoints. No weapons used and a dumb finish. 2.5/5 Match 2. 6 man tables match CM Punk, Dreamer, Sandman vs. New Breed Second best match. Weapons were actually used and a great finish. The only problem i had is that it should have been an elimination tables match 4/5 Match 3. WWE World Tag Team Championship Match Hardyz vs. Benjamin & Haas (Ladder Match) OMG! Best match of the night! Innovative use of the ladder. You have to see this for yourself 2 see how great it is. 5/5 Match 4. Lumberjack Match Kane vs. Mark Henry This match has no business on this card. Horrible match. Henry wins via bear hug 1/5 Match 5. ECW world title Match Mr. McMahon vs. Lashley (Street Fight) This match was the 3rd best. Uses of trash cans, chairs and Shane elbows Lashley thru an announcment table. I dint care who won since Vince & Lashley and the new ECW is complete garbage. 3/5 Match 6. Pudding Match Melina vs. Candice Michelle The pudding looked gross here. You cant tell who was who. Wasnt that great. just skip. 1.5/5 Match 7. World Title Match Edge vs. Batista (Steel Cage Match) 4th best match. nothing special. the only blood in this entire event you see is when Edge gets a bloody nose. ok for steel cage, horrible for a ONS ppv 3/5 Match 8. WWE title match John Cena vs. The Great Khali (Falls Anywhere) WhY? 2 horrible wrestlers in the history of WWE. They brawl through crowds (something i thought they wouldn't do) and Cena hits Khali with a monitor and a camera pole and FUs him from the top of a truck to the concrete which i thought was cool. Horrible Main Event compared to last years match that Cena had with RVD 2/5 Overall Average: 2.5/5 If you want a real One Night Stand PPV, get the 05 and 06 versions. There is no point in calling this a night of extreme rules when the wrestlers don't even take advantage of the rules plus there is no blood. Stay away from this and save your money.
