    Cheesy slasher 'B' movie!

My wife and I watched this and didn't like it. First of all, we have the film Ed Gein which is more accurate to the real story. It could pass for a documentary. Second, they butchered the real story of Ed Gein, (no pun intended). Kane Hodder, which was good in the Friday the 13th films when he played Jason, plays Ed Gein, but is twice the size of the real Ed Gein. Also, he kills like a dozen or so people in the film. The real Ed Gein only killed 2-4 people. This was just another slasher film LOOSELY based on Ed Gein. (And a 'B' version at that.) If you want to see the real story of Ed Gein that inspired the killers in such films as Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, and Silence of the Lambs, then I recommend watching Ed Gein (with Steve Railsback). Not this one!
