I watch this movie alot I like it when it first came out

I love both of the movies. The location brings me back to my days after college when I spent summer evenings in Tony Marts and Bayshores (across the street). My friends tended bar and were doorman there. I grew up in Vineland and that's where "wordman" said he was teaching after the band broke up. I love the music and can listen to it over and over. What memories it brings back!

The film details the rise of a 1960's rock band by a 1980's investigative reporter. The band's music was ahead of its time, however their popularity abruptly ends. But due to the reporter's broadcast, the popularity of the band is revived. The film ends with a big "What if". The sequel picks up where the original film ends.

Hubby wanted this movie. So bought the movie for him. He loves the music. The music is great but the movie lacks acting.

Just a great story of someone in the music industry that was ahead of his time . He played with the greats of his time and show how far ahead of the rest he was.

The smoldering rockstar is in full effect! From the music to the story who doesn't want to solve the mystery of Eddie and the Cruisers.

These movies are fabulous. I have been trying to find for over 13 years on DVD. So Glad I happened to check Best Buy.com and the price was excellent!

I was happy to find this double feature DVD! Great resolution! These are 2 of my favorite movies from my childhood.

I graduated from high school in 1983 (WOW!) that was a while back. The first "Eddie and The Cruiesers" came out in 1983 and I loved it. Rented it when I was able to find it-not too often. Then "Eddie Lives" came out and made it even better. I received a gift card from my Daughter and decided to type in "Eddie and The Cruisers" into the Best Buy search and WoW!! I finally found BOTH!! Thank You. ps... Watched both the same night :)

Super combo-pak of two classics in one package! Eddie Lives has been impossible to find and that combined with the original made this a great find for mr. Definitely more than worth the price!

Good movies with a real story line that is sometimes missing in rock band movies. John Cafferty made some good music for these movies. Michael Par'e at his best.

I've watched this movie before. It's a good classic.
