It's delightfully fun and fresh as it is an offbeat buddy comedy that is literally uplifting! Aspiring Olympic ski jumper Michael David Edwards (Taron Egerton) joins forces with washed up Bronson Peary (Hugh Jackman) to beat the odds and soar to new heights! Definitely a fun watch.

I didn't know what to think when I first saw the movie. I got it at the Redbox and loved it! I love that it's based off a true story and I love the message that it brings that you shouldn't ever give up on your passions or dreams and if you work hard enough, you can achieve them. I thought it was awesome.

I just bought this movie after watching the trailer just becos of Hugh Jackman. The transformation from KingsMan movie to this Taron Egerton did great job. Its not always about the winning/loosing its about the journey also matters. Just watch and have fun.

Great movie, lots of humor, but the biggest surprise was the acting of Taron Egerton. He was okay in Kingsman, but never thought he could do much more than that type of role, boy was I wrong, he really transforms himself into Eddie and really brings the life to this film.

This film was very enjoyable. It demonstrates the importance of perseverance when everyone tells you that your skills are limited. It's a great movie for the "I think I can...I think I can....I think I can..." needed to achieve greatness. This film is very inspirational.

Eddie the Eagle is a great true story that will leave you laughing and crying at the same time. The triumph of this achievement is beautifully shown in this film. Highly recommend to anyone who likes watching the underdog win and enjoys anything about the Olympic Games.

The title of the movie had me underestimate it from the beginning. I didn't know what to expect. But after watching this true "underdog" picture I found a new respect for dreamers!!! Great heartfelt movie. I'm glad I watched it at the movies and bought the Blu-ray.

A film for all ages! Anyone who decides to see this film is in for a real treat, a movie that teaches you to get out there and never give up on your goals, aspirations, and life long dreams. This movie would definitely be worth adding to anyone's collection.

I bought this movie because of who was in it and for how much I loved Cool Runnings, this is such a good feel good movie. I had a smile on my face the entire time and loved the characters. The music was also good and made you feel like you were in the 80's. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to smile and feel good watching a movie

This is a fun movie. It was 'inspired by actual events' , the actual story of Eddie the Eagle is quite different than the portrayal in the movie. The actor playing Eddie does a terrific job, and Hugh Jackman is Hugh Jackman. It's well paced, not too long, and you feel like cheering at the end. Great family feel good movie.

This was a present to my daughter for Christmas. Early in 2016, we went to the see this movie. She loved it. So I purchased it as one of her stocking stuffers. She says this movie really inspired her to never give up on your dreams.

This movie is such a surprise. I saw the previews and was very uninterested. Then I rented it and BOOM!!!! It grabbed me and didn't let go until the end. Touching comedy celebrating the human spirit!!!! I bought it the next day.

this is a feel good melodrama based on sports. When a young rising Olympian Eddie who dreams of nothing else but being an Olympian is being told his whole life he isn't good enough, he meets a trusty companion to help him triumph his goals. And prove everybody wrong! A Blindside on ski's if you will.

This based on a true story flick, will leave you feeling good about life in general and people as a whole. Good acting and lots of humor, mixed with underdog themes, this is a must watch sports movie

if you're the type of person that enjoys movies from their childhood era in the 70s, you'll love Eddie the Eagle. Great suspense accompanied by determination and humility. A must see for the whole Family!

Fascinating story of one of the more unlikely Olympic champions in recent memory. The film is at least fast-paced and often humorous, but its emotions seem overly calculated virtually every step of the way. Technical merits are strong and the supplementary package quite good

I LOVED this movie. I've always been a sucker for "underdog" movies. Great acting and touching story. Not to mention...the 4K HDR quality of this movie is FANTASTIC! A define step up from the DVD!
