I recently purchased the Edge OTA to replace my Roamio OTA, I cut the cord I went all-in with the Edge ($378 with tax) and the lifetime plan ($250). With the HD antenna ($84), this set up will pay for itself.... I really like this one much better.......

Over all I am happy with the Tivo OTA, it was some what of a chore to get set up, and required multiple calls to customer support. Once the set up is complete it's a very good device, the Tuner is quick, and the subscribed service to get the Channel information to allow you effort less recording is good ! The Netflix interface is excellent !

It does what a Tivo is supposed to. Wish I could just have an app available on my TV rather than have to buy additional boxes. With everything app based streaming, having a box is becoming obsolete. Get with the times Tivo!! I would rather use my Apps native to my TV than have to change inputs and tunnel through your apps and navigate your hard to use menu system. Once my year is over I will probably dump this service.

Have a Romero TiVo and this one is so much better. Has features I never dreamed of having. Easy to setup and start using out of the box.

I love it works great and can record the programs I want to be recorded a lot of programs it has a lot of storage for programs.

My TIVO was forced to upgrade (no option) to TIVO plus and now if I try to watch a recording it defaults to TIVO plus. I reset TIVO completely, had to re-input EVERYTHING. Still did the same thing! On a forum a woman accidentally found that pushing the SKIP button on remote makes dvr go back to loading your recording. So I have to do that every time I try to load a recording. Recording live shows and movies, etc. is the REASON for a DVR! I use Netflix and Amazon membership for movies. You cannot get rid of this awful programming. You were warned...
