This purchase is small, ideal, and the sound is exponentially powerful. It was easy to install and use.

Great little set of speakers. They look awesome on the shelf. Got them for my 16 year old for Christmas to go with his record player. He loves them. Great value. It also comes with shorter cables to plug into his record player, but if you need a longer one they are pretty affordable.

Just got these speakers 2 days ago, they just keep getting better as they break in. Took a chance based off all the reviews. They exceeded my expectations for the price. I'm mainly using them for music from my Mac. They are very clean sounding with more detail then I thought they'd have. You can really hear the nuances in various types of recordings. Nice, tight and punchy, no mussy bass and they seem to have a fairly flat response. Plenty of volume for my small studio apartment. I do recommend lifting them up a bit from what ever surface you will place them on , to prevent the low from coupling with the surface. Use them within their means and you won't be disappointed. I absolutely recommend these for the price.

Bought these on a whim just to have something for a new PC setup. They sound much better than I expected. Plenty of bass, don't even need a woofer for these. The 2 Band EQ is simple and works great. Use them for gaming and have even mixed some music drafts on them.

These speakers were much less in cost than other speakers we would have traditionally purchased. We needed to get speakers but didnt want to spend a ton of money until we were sure what we wanted to do. We thought "oh these will work for what we need now".... well come to find out these are all we need! The sound quality is awesome. Easy to setup and they look really nice! Steal of a deal.

This is probably the best purchase I made for my work from home office. The sound quality is phenomenal for speakers so small, and they look very classy on the desk as well. I've had really expensive klipsch desk speakers before and these honestly sound way better at a much better value.

Nice clear sound. Missing a bit of the mid-range clarity but still crystal clear. Has some nice bass to them also. Simple set up. If you want better sound then i would go to one of the higher end models of the series. Very satisfied and exactly what i was looking for to listen to my vinyl through. You wont be disappointed.

Great speakers, especially for a vinyl set up! I have zero complaints about these speakers. The sound quality is excellent, the price was fair, and the set up was simple. If you're on the fence about these, make the purchase!

I did a lot of research, reading and procrastination before buying these. I should not have waited so long. They sound excellent. The clarity, the adjustable bass. They do sound better when angled up towards your face (if you have a lower desk), so consider a speaker stand for each one (I bought some rubber pads and added several to the front to get the right angle). I can't compare these to other bookshelf-style speakers in quality, but I do believe the other positive reviews are justified in their own comparisons. These are a great purchase and sound great at low volumes (which is good because I use them at work). The difference between these and every other "desktop" speaker system I've used is night and day. The only thing that would improve upon these is a separate subwoofer, but that would be overkill for what I use these fore. You want home entertainment? Then go all out for sure. I'm happy I finally decided to make this purchase. Worth it for sure.

I’ve been using the Edifier speakers for a few months now, and they’ve been excellent. The sound quality is clear, well-balanced, and surprisingly powerful for their size—great for music, movies, and even light mixing. Setup was super simple; I had them plugged in and working within minutes. The build quality also feels premium, and they look great on my desk. Highly recommend if you're looking for reliable bookshelf speakers that won’t break the bank.

Bought this for my dad - easy to set up, good sound quality, and big fan of the remote. The size is great for what we were looking for and they were very easy to set up with the turntable I purchased.

I purchased these monitor speakers with low expectations several months ago. But their accuracy and sound clarity greatly exceeded my expectations. Details: I have a few seats on my network, at one of which I read. I had put in a SONOS system there, almost $one large. But it was temperamental and glitchy, and one speaker lost all treble. So, I was looking for a replacement, expecting about a $500 purchase. But $130? I have large Logan-Martins for AV: five star they are in spades. But these little guys? Maybe 5 x 10 inches in front. However, a lot of Edifier R1280T users gave convincing recommendations for these bookshelves, so I tried them out. They were packaged nicely, and the setup instructions were clear. Only one of the two speakers is powered and requires 110 V, That spkr drives the other via speaker cable. It also comes with a 3.5 mm TRS cable to connect to the source - here a high'ish-end ASUS gaming Windows 11-Pro laptop. The powered box also has a set of controls: bass, treble and volume knobs and on-off switch. There is also about six feet of wound-wire-tipped speaker cable, guessing 14-16 gauge. Since I have the speakers set about eight feet apart, I had to use another cable, 10 AWG. The sound has good dispersion and L/R separation. A surprisingly good bass for the size. These Edifiers are perfect for mellow jazz or acoustic background - and medium volume R&R. So-called "reference speakers" are not designed for high volume and this pair follows this axiom. I'd guess about 80 dB max. with full O/S and speaker gains. The frequency controls do not have a great dynamic range, but OK for their purpose. The product could come with a little longer speaker wire too. In short, fine speakers for their price and purpose. Note: I was neither compensated for this review, nor was I requested to provide it. I just like the product!

Fantastic and simplistic PC speaker setup for the price! I don't think there's anything for this price that sounds this good. One tweak that helped me bring out a little punch from these bad boys is buying a Dolby Access licensee for Windows, which is able to give you "virtual" Dolby Atmos. After some equalizing and tweaking there these sound so so good. Very simple to set up. I also got a 3rd party desktop speaker stand that angles it towards your ears. This is a must in my opinion to fully experience and enjoy desktop speakers especially for PC in my opinion. They also have an built in amp, so you don't need one. A DAC might help depending on your needs. The wood finish gives it a very premium look. All in all I'm VERY happy with my purchase, only wish it had a sub output, but since I'm not listening to anything too loud and since these are also in my smaller workspace, I'm ok with it. If you really need a sub, it's def possible to add it to this setup, however like I said it would be easier and cleaner if it had a sub output.

These book shelf speakers are exactly what I was looking for. I use them on my desk connected to my gaming laptop with a DAC and preamp. They replaced a pair of deprecated Bose desktop speakers and what a difference! The base response is unbelievable coming from book shelf speakers. I also appreciate the individual knobs on the side for treble, bass, and volume. I’m definitely happy with this purchase and would recommend them for anyone who is looking for quality speakers at a reasonable price.

I am very satisfied with my Edifier speakers. The many positive reviews I read before making my purchase were very helpful in making my decision. I find myself in agreement with most of the customers who's reviews I read concerning quality of sound, design and construction. The Edifier R120T speakers are solidly built, they look great and the sound is very impressive. They live in my kitchen/office where I have them connected to an FM tuner, a CD player and occasionally my laptop. With more than 20 times the cost of the Edifiers invested in my home stereo speakers and amplification, there isn't much comparison and yet, the R120T's have transformed the room I spend so much time in lately, into another great space for music. They really pack a big punch for their size and sound great at high volume but, more importantly for someone trying to preserve a pair of 67 year old ears, the sound quality they produce at lower volume is just as impressive and by experimenting with placement and positioning, I've created a very satisfying sound stage (Image is everything) in one corner of a small room. What would I change? The low end is amazing for such small speakers but, I actually find myself turning the bass down with many music sources so, as helpful as the bass/treble knobs are in achieving optimum tonal balance, I would have preferred the "0" setting on the bass control to be somewhat less bass as a starting point but, that's only my personal taste. The power switch would be more conveniently located on the side control panel and the power indicator light should obviously be on the front of the speaker. Oh well, nothing's perfect but, for the price, these speakers come pretty close. Over all, I'm very happy with my choice.

Fantastic speakers for the money. Very heavy and great sound, plus they look great too and they seem to be of solid build quality. Treble and bass controls on the side are easy to get to. Includes a remote volume control as well which was nice. While I'm not using them as PC speakers in the traditional sense, they met my need perfectly.
