Not a happy camper at all. The few reviews on these Edifier R1380DB powered speakers caused me to purchase them. They arrived early and played fine via Bluetooth when I tested them right out of the box. Next day, I set them up in the room where I planned to use them and...no Bluetooth connection. Tried turning them on and off several times, plugged them into other outlets, restarted the iPhone...nothing worked. They will be going back to Best Buy tomorrow. I gave 2 stars because for the 5 minutes they played (right out of the box) they sounded great.

The low mark goes to BB. I had an issue with the speakers about 1 year after purchasing. BB did nothing to help correct the issue. I went home and contacted the manufacturer, and they resolved the issue with no delay. The speakers sound great but had a BT issue. Got a new pair of speakers in 3 days and they have been fine.
Once BB return date expired speaker stopped worki.

I wanted a powered(non-battery)BT speaker for my apartment that would give a full sound and could be hidden. The remote is useless if the speaker is behind a chair. No BT control from phone or any BT device. The speakers actually sounded pretty good. BUT! after the 30 day Best Buy return policy expired, the speakers wouldn’t connect to any blue tooth device. All of my music like just about every other person in the world comes off my IPhone or IPad or computer. So I had to return them to the manufacturer. At least five days of back and forth emails. I’m still waiting for the replacement, it’s being done at a snail’s pace. They haven’t sent the replacement to me yet. They emailed me a packing label. Within an hour,I had it sent out. They stated once they received them they will process my replacement. Over two weeks without speakers is not good service. As soon as I receive them they will be put up for sale. I’m getting something else.
