I needed a replacement pronto. Eero was the BEST choice for me, within the app I can control everything, including pausing my daughters devices when it’s time to reduce their screen time. Overall the connection and reliability provided by eero is beyond my expectation. It’s a win for me.

Compact size allows it to be put on the corner of my desk, without realty taking up a lot of room. No external antennas to worry about and still great range of signal for Wi-Fi devices. Just one unit is enough for our three bedroom home. Setup and configuration is easy, too. Also, it automatically updates, without interruption to our users, as it smartly schedules itself when least traffic at night or early morning is present.

Using 2-3 of these we are able to run 3 computers, 2 TVs and a handful of handheld devices with no discernible latency. Highly recommend!

This smaller version of the flagship unit is a great addition to an existing system (they are all backwards compatible) but would also be great for someone just starting out. I did have to add some "feet" to the bottom since these units can get quite warm and there is no way for air to circulate on the bottom.

Put the 6 in place next to the router, and WiFi speeds have increased nicely throughout our home. Also use one of the Ethernet ports to direct connect to a Firestick for better performance. Connection was painless and easy.

Handles lots of devices with no problem. Every device gets full internet speed. And very importantly, easy to setup with the phone app. Only wish is that they would create an actual computer based app instead of a phone based one.

Posted .Hi PaulH. Thank you for your feedback on the eero 6+ router. I am sorry to hear of the performance issues you were experiencing. Here are some troubleshooting steps that may remedy your issue: 1. The first thing you’ll want to do is figure out whether you’re experiencing slow behavior on multiple devices. If it’s only on one device, simply turn your device’s WiFi off and on again. If that doesn’t work, try rebooting the device. 2. Try power cycling your eeros by unplugging the power cable from the back of your eero, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in. This step can sometimes fix connectivity issues. 3. Unplug the power cable from your modem, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

The erro app is excellent for monitoring each router in one app. The townhome has three erro's; one condo has two and one erro for another condo.

I was worried that it was going to have me remove the old network and do a bunch of stuff manually but it literally does everything for you. I really like how the app lets you control what devices are connected, win and you can block certain websites and applications from being used. It’s also really cool that if it does a scan and it thinks that there is malicious activity like spyware or any tracking going on. It will just not open the website at all. Keeping you safe.
