Eero is the very best and most reliable Wi-Fi system I have ever used. I have been using Erro since 2015 and not likely to make a change. Their support service is the best I have ever seen!

This was an upgrade from older eero routers. These work really well for us. No dead spots and really fast.

As a tech guy that likes getting into complicated stuff to setup, this is way too easy. Added this as the third unit to my other two. At first I didn't have a cable to it connecting to the others so it setup via Wifi. Once I connected the Ethernet cable to it, it switched to a wired connection. Speed on these are good except I don't have anything WiFi 7 to test it.

I get the speed I expect, but it required adding a second Eero to my 1500 sq ft home. In fairness, my main unit had to be placed at one end of the house instead of centrally because of my Internet drop. Apart from that I have not had any issues with them after a month. Very smooth and reliable operation.

I've gravitated toward Eero products for the past few years thanks to their ease of use while offering good set-and forget wifi performance. I am on gigabit fiber and I used a 3-pack of Eero pro 6 for the last 2 years with great reliability. The pro 6 gave me around 300-600mbps download speeds depending on location. My ISP recently offered 2 gig speed at a reasonable price and being the tech guy I am I decided to jump on it. I replaced my Eero pro 6's with these max 7's and I now get 600-1500mbps depending on location, and thats only on 6 or 6E devices. Once we get some native wifi 7 devices, we should see even faster speed. I also really appreciate the 2 10gb ports and the 2 2.5gb ports. Finally we have an Eero wifi device with ample wired options. You can have the satellite units (which are technically identical to the main router) wired or wireless. If you use wired ethernet to connect the other units, make sure you wire the other two units "downstream" of the main router unit. As with previous Eero products, these are very, very easy to set up. They use an app for everything and it uses the amazon cloud to provide continual data about your network that works the same regardless of if you're at home or not. You can see how much data each device is using and set various parental controls if desired. The app is well designed and easy to use. There aren't as many advanced wifi options as some expert users might want, but for those who want an easy option that works well, Eero is great. They are incredibly reliable and the max 7 appears to be no different. My main complaint about Eero systems have to do with the subscription to Eero plus. I used to have a $3/month one from them that provided extra functionality such as ad-blocking and other protections as well as more detailed data consumption and analytics. They had a $10/month tier as well which adds things such as 1password and a VPN service. Sadly, Eero discontinued the $3 tier and you now have to pay the $10/month even if you never want to use 1password or the other services. I wish Eero would bring back a cheaper subscription tier which doesn't have the extra services most won't use. For most users, the max 7 is overkill. If you have gig speeds or less, the pro 6 or pro 6e is good at a much lower price. But for those with a super fast fiber connection looking for an easy to use friendly app based wifi system, look no further.

After extensive research, I chose the eero max 7 3-pack and my only regret is not getting it sooner. I live in a 9,000sf old brick & stone 3 story house and the plan was to get a 4th max 7 to assure full coverage but I don’t think it’ll be necessary. These 3 units mesh seamlessly all throughout and it was very simple to install! Highly recommend it

I am using just 1 eero max 7 in a 4000 sq ft home and I am getting excellent coverage throughout. I have 1 gig internet and my wifi 6e s23 ultra shows over a gig download speed. One of the best routers I have ever used. Simple setup and one is online.

Incredible router. I only have a 1 Gbps fiber service, but i can't wait to upgrade soon. I'm easily getting 1.1 Gbps both upload and download. I have tons of devices connected and use this in conjunction with 2 Eero Pros as mesh. the app is awesome as well

This was so easy to setup using the app on my phone, and I’m not technically inclined and old. It works great. I also purchased 2 extenders that I placed in other parts of the house, and the app tells you if you have chosen a good place or not. I had to move one for better placement per the app. It was so amazingly easy and straightforward. Great experience all around. From the sales guy that recommended this router to the setup. I felt so smart after setting it up. Hehe the only reason I give the range 4stars is because I have a small house and one was supposed to be enough. But my small house is also 100 years old with plaster walls so I had to add 2 satellites Now it works perfectly.

We struggled for months with getting anywhere near the 1Gb throughput on our devices that we subscribe to with Spectrum's highest-speed router. We tried their range extender but it didn't make any difference. We installed the eero and immediately saw our bandwidth at the edge of our coverage area go up to over 650Mb and even up to 1Gb at times. Plus, we didn't have to re-connect every one of our 30+ devices to a different router - the eero took care of connecting them. Although the 3-pack is somewhat expensive, the purchase was well worth it for the trouble-free service we're getting from those devices

[Employee of bestbuy] Completely overkill..and I love it, had a pair of Netgear mesh system box and I would get 500mb/s but had many issues with staying connected. The max 7's boosted our range and wired Into the one in my room that's upstairs and furthest point away from the modem, I now get 1.669 gb/s which makes downloading anything so fast. I honestly am in awe how fast my I teener is now

Upgraded to the Eero Max 7 after owning the 6 Pro and the performance was night and day. I’m getting 1 G on Wi-Fi throughout my house on my Wi-Fi 6E and 7 devices. 5 and 2.4 GHz performance still leaves much to be desired, but overall worth it if you’re looking for a simple and reliable Wi-Fi setup.

A Fantastic Product with Great Customization! Overall Impression: This has been a great product so far, and I haven't experienced any issues with it. The setup process was a breeze—very easy to set up, which is a huge plus for those who prefer a quick start. Key Features & Customization: One of the major highlights is the extensive customization. If you're someone who likes to "dig in" and fine-tune your settings, this product has many options when setting up. The ability to manage connected devices is excellent: Device Identification: You can name each device that connects to the system, so you always know who is online. Access Control: The system also allows you to easily lock out specific devices, giving you full control over access. Highly recommended for both tech enthusiasts and casual users who want a reliable, customizable experience.

Long time eero customer ever since eero’s first product as a startup company. I’m upgrading from eero Pro 6e. eero Max 7 is a typical eero system, it just works. True WiFi 7 tri-band that can support high number amount of devices connected at the same time. I’ve close to 100 WiFi devices on the network at the same time. Initially I tried the Linksys Velop Pro 7 WiFi Mesh System, which came with three WiFi routers with greater coverage than the eero Max 7 twin pack at almost half the price. However, the Velop started to have data drop and complete stoppage when there are more than 50 devices on the network, which is no better than WiFi 6. Return the Velop the next day and got the eero Max 7. Could be happier with the performance. Great to see first actual ventilation holes on the Max 7. Hopefully the ventilation holes will keep it operational even in hot summer days when it would cause my previous eero 6, 5, etc to trigger red LED of death. I only had the Max 7 for two months now, so far so good.

I purchased this mesh system after upgrading my Google Fiber to an 8g package - with the understanding that it would be capable of reaching higher wireless speeds than the pack-in Google Fiber router I received. Overall, the speeds have not been faster (both routers hitting 1,400-1500 Mbps in close proximity to router and hub units, but I was expecting faster with some of my higher end (Apple) devices. Still, the range is more consistent than what came from Google. I rarely dip below 400 Mbps and most areas have at least 700-800. The only other minor annoyance is that I'm not able to distinguist 2.4, 5, 6 bands like I have with other routers. Overall, this was really easy to setup and I imagine I'll eventually see the full power these units promise as devices advance.

Hi Gstaff. Thank you for your feedback on the eero Max 7 system. I’m sorry to hear that you're not getting the speed that you expected. Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to every room in your home. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877)659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

I bought and returned the deco xe75 pro and spent the extra money for the eero max 7. Performance with one satellite is better than the 3 pack of the deco xe75 or any other of the can style wifi devices. The device and app are of excellent quality! Im Happy with the speeds it provides from my 2GB fiber plan. Getting about 1400 mbs down and 1600 mbs up!
