This product has worked great for our 7,000 sq/ft home. It provides coverage in places our normal router could not. With simple set up and installment this product has been a great addition to our home, 10/10 would recommend to anyone in search of a good wifi extender. A little on the pricey side but the value is most definitely there!

Easy to set up and get it started however still trying to learn how to maximize its potential. Square footage wise it should catch throughout my entire house but it is still spotty on some areas.

Have had several Wi-Fi routers over many years and these top the cake. I have one on each floor and my Wi-Fi has been rock solid with over 100 wireless devices. I wish I had switched sooner. It was actually too easy to setup, it does not offer a lot of tweaks to enhance performance but I now value stability over all else and this has been set it and forget it for me, which is fantastic!

I have been an early adopter of WiFi 7 because I have spent last 2 years on a journey to make a “smarter” house. In that time I have tried TP Link, Netgear, and Asus routers. Trust me when I say you will be happy with these routers. I am a non-IT guy and these were by far the easiest to setup AND THEY JUST WORK. I like not having separate SSIDs for IOT or the different bands. Everything just connects flawlessly and so much nicer to mange ONE SSID. I love them so much I also purchased a couple of their outdoor routers for our yard and garage. FINALLY, I have used their support line twice already and they were very responsive and helpful. Overall I am finally happy with my mesh system after 2 years of trial and error.

I've waited for a few months before I write this review as I want to make sure I was completely satisfied, and Eero Max 7 didn't disappoint! I'm so grateful for it and so happy that I made the jump from my previous Orbi 960 Series which was a $1500 (3-pack) and bought an extra satellite. My Orbi was constantly disconnecting from one satellite to another and I had to constantly restart the device which made my life miserable. I was hesitant to change as Eero wasn't a cheap replacement, but boy I was glad that I finally changed it. I've been using it for couple of months now and there's been LITERALLY ZERO disconnection from them. Not only that the range and the speed are working exactly how it described. I'm so happy I switched to Eero and would totally recommend this product to anyone. If you are looking for a solid stable connection, massive range, and high speed internet environment for your home, this is a must buy.

I’ve tried every version and manufacturer of mesh routers and I must say that eero has far exceeded my expectations! With over 100 devices connected to WiFi, eero was the only system that would maintain a reliable connection. While I understand that no mesh network is perfect, this is by far the closest I’ve found. Overall, I’m very pleased. Single story house with 2500 sq ft. 4 eero Max 7 routers. Over 100 devices evenly distributed over the 4 routers. Routers are connected wirelessly. Internet service 500mb and get full speed with wireless devices.

Out the box I was impressed with the design and look of this router. I was very hopeful and impressed with the performance in the same room or even a room or two away but as I moved to the opposite side of my upstairs the performance drops significantly from averaging 600 Mbps on my phone down to 250 Mbps at best. From a wired perspective the 10 Gbps ports really do allow for full speed of your ISP with me consistnely getting the advertised 1 Gbs up and down with my AT&T Fiber connection. Within the house when wired I was able to consistenly hit 950 Mbps download and wireless with my gaming desktop 680 to 700 Mbps. I also put the additional node downstairs in my living room and had it hardwired via one of the 10 Gbps ports back to the one setup as a router and consistenly get 600 Mbps from my phone in the same room but where this Node rally fell short for me was when I went outside on my back porch. I have a TV outside on my porch and before wiht my old Linksys WiFI 6 router with multiple nodes I could easily stream to my 4K Fire Stick with 130 Mbps but with these I only get 25 to 30 Mbps and have incurred more buffering issues since putting this setup in place. For this price point my biggest complain or gripe is the fact that many of the "Premium" features are blocked behind a pay wall. At this price point I was not expecting to have to pay even more for premium features. It also has NO WEB INTERFACE. This setup isn't aimed at more computer savvy people being that it is locked into only a phone app to do all the configuration. I also haven't been able to get the Router to take my custom IP settings so I could easily have my other devices and static ip devices on the same subnet. Pros: - 10 Gb's ports and wired and in room speeds are great - Smaller and stylish loking without any protruding external antennas - Use of other newer generation Amazon Echo Dots to extend your network coverage and mesh Cons: - Premium features locked behind a pay wall - No web interface to configure and make edits to the network - No USB interface to allow for external hard drives to be plugged - Speed through external walls diminishes extensively unless you have a node right next to a window or the external wall - Only 4 wired ports on the back of the router - Overpriced still even as one of the first in this generation of WiFi 7 routers Overall it has good speed but power user features still locked down or behind a paywall is a bit of a slap in the face for a router at this price.

Excellent coverage both inside and around the house. Very easy to install - even for a tech dummy like myself . We would highly recommend this. We are able to have dozens of devices connected with no lag. Was pricey but imho - definitely worth it. Will save us a lot of aggravation and headaches for sure.

I loved the WiFi and Ethernet speeds on this router. The Eero app interface is easy to use and looks great. Setup is very easy. Signal strength is good. My only gripe is that the coverage range isn’t as great as I had expected. I did a lot of research on this router before getting it, and the range fell short on what I read. Definitely not enough for a 3000 sq ft home. You’ll want to get another Eero for extending the network if you want full satisfaction. All-in-all, for the price I wouldn’t recommend it. Once the price drops a bit, then it will be a thumbs-up.

We ugraded from eero pro 6 to eero max 7 and the results are incredible. We have 115 online devices and my son likes to play games on play station, xbox, and gaming pc. We have all three eeros hard wired and i am getting on my iphone 15 pro 940 download and 925 upload speeds wirelessly. Our hard wired devices are getting 980 download and 980 upload. We have AT&T fiber 1000 plan. I had tried the Netvear 973 but i prefer eero beciase the app is better and eero only charges $100 for the eero plus which is a must better deal than the cost of all of netgears packages which you have to pay for after one year continued support, security software, and child monitoring which all total comes out to being well more than $100 yearly. We have been with eero from 2018 with our first mesh system the eero pro 5. We did try the eero pro 6e but that system had lots of issues so we returned it. We had been waiting for the eero max 7 since it was announced back in the summer. You won’t be disappointed amd the ease to set up and headache free. Eero has finally returned back to being a solid system less the eero pro 6e which i had heard from the pandemic did not have all the quality components eeeo had been known to contain. I am so thankful eero returned to excellence. Way to go eero.

I’ve been using this system for about a year now and overall it’s been solid. Speeds and coverage are great, and I do appreciate how often eero pushes software updates — it definitely feels like they’re actively improving things. That said, some of my smart home devices had occasional trouble staying connected, which got a little frustrating. It also feels like sometimes an update fixes one issue but introduces another. Not a dealbreaker for me, but worth mentioning. Still a good system overall, just not perfect. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Hi Chase. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience with the eero Max 7 system! I'm glad to hear that you're satisfied with the speeds, coverage, and software updates. I understand your frustration with the connectivity of some of your smart home devices. I'd recommend running a coverage scan. To do this you'll open the eero app, tap the Settings icon, select Troubleshooting, and then select the Device coverage scan option. Coverage Scan will evaluate the connection strength between devices on the network and the eero the device is connected to. Based on the results of the scan, the app will provide recommendations to improve performance. If you need further assistance, please reach out directly to eero customer support at (877) 659-2347. Have a great day!

I upgraded from a setup with three Eero Pro 6e routers to two Max 7s, and they have been great. It has better overall coverage and speeds, and I love having additional network ports on the back. I'm getting almost one gig over Wi-Fi when close to the routers.

Seamless integration into an existing eero system. has not modified speeds dramatically, however same solid performance and no drama performance, which at the end of the day is what most of us want. Did not give it 5 stars because for the price , i wa expecting some jump is performance.

I had high hopes for the eero Max 7 system, but it’s been a pretty frustrating experience so far. I’m running three units spread out properly across my 5,000 sq ft home, so coverage shouldn’t be an issue—but I’m constantly dealing with buffering on all of my TVs. Streaming anything reliably has become a challenge. On top of that, I’ve noticed frequent Wi-Fi drops, which is really disappointing for a system at this price point and with these specs. What makes it worse is that I previously used a single tower router from another brand and never had these kinds of problems in the same house. Setup was easy and the app is clean, but performance is what really matters, and it just hasn’t delivered for me. For a “premium” mesh system, I expected a lot more stability and consistency.

Hi ShaunB,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback on the eero Max 7 system. We're truly sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you've been having with buffering and Wi-Fi drops, especially given the premium nature of this system and your investment in three units for your home. It's particularly disappointing when a new system underperforms compared to your previous setup, and we completely understand your frustration.
For a mesh system at this level, the performance issues you're describing—constant buffering during streaming and frequent Wi-Fi drops—are not what we expect, and they shouldn't be happening with proper coverage across your 5,000 sq ft home. There are several factors that can sometimes impact mesh performance even with proper placement, including interference from other devices, backhaul configuration between units, firmware updates, or specific network settings that may need optimization.
We'd strongly encourage you to reach out to eero's dedicated support team, as they have specialized tools to diagnose your specific network setup and can often identify issues that aren't immediately obvious. They can analyze your network remotely, check unit placement and connectivity strength between nodes, verify firmware versions, and make configuration adjustments that may significantly improve performance. You can contact eero support at 1-877-659-2347 or through the eero app's support feature.
We appreciate you giving eero a try and taking the time to share such specific feedback about your experience. Your input is valuable and helps drive improvements in both product performance and customer support.

[Employee of bestbuy] This router pretty much does everything that it list it can do on paper. I'm running two gaming PCs, consoles, and many other devices without any issue. The app is very intuitive and simple to use. Unlike the other eeros, this does have multiple of Ethernet ports on the back so you may not need a splitter. Only gripe with eero as a whole and the reason I'm not eating it 5 stars is because eero doesnt make it simple to split your 2.4 and 5ghz bands. This is a bit annoying especially with some smarthome devices that only run on 2.4 but despite that, no real issues on my side.

I have a new Surface Pro 11 with Wifi 7, and since my network at home has a 10GB switch, with a 5 GB card in my media center and a 10GB card in my Synology, I figured it was time to get the wireless going better for my file copies to and from the Surface. First I tried the Archer BE800 which was an unmitigated disaster. Three hours of factory resets and trying over and over, and it was just utter junk. This one - I disconnected everything I had existing (a mesh system of Deco units and an Asus wifi router that was the main unit here) and plugged one of these behind my T-Mobile home internet box. And within about 3 minutes, I was up and running and had a whole bunch of my smart devices (I have about 180 smart devices on my home network) already connecting. I plugged in the second one, used a wired backchannel, and that was about 3 minutes to completion. Before I could even get back to my laptop the app showed the majority of my devices already back online (since I used the same SSID and password for simplicity). I had a brief moment of worry when I couldn't see the option to change my IP for the local network to a 192.168.1.x since all my devices for my media and such are hardcoded, but a quick google search showed me to ignore what the app showed and one you get to the next page you can enter other specifics. And it worked without any isue. Still have some tweaking to do since my wireless copy speeds from my Surface Pro 10 aren't good at all, only about 50% faster than I was on the Wifi 6 Asus, despite my wireless link showing a 5764 Mbps connection speed for the Surface. I know the things I'm copying to and from are insanely faster, and the switch also verifies that everything has an actual speed for the wiring where it should be. So time will tell if I can get that working better. But I like the simplicity of this setup. Not normally a fan of app setups (I'm a CTO of an IT consulting company, been working computers for over 40 years, so I'm used to and normally prefer a good web UI with tons of options) but this app setup was painless and let me get everything changed I needed to get changed from within it. That is a first for me. More expensive, but the thought process of getting what you pay for usually plays out, and in this case it did. Unless something drastic goes wrong now out of the blue, I've got nothing here to dislike other than the short power cords.

Had originally bought the new Linksys router, but had nothing but problems. Three nodes and the two child nodes would constantly drop signal and have to be rebooted manually after being relocated to the parent node. Owned for 4 days and had to do that several times. Very annoying and I took that thing back to the store. The sales guy at the return desk recommended this eero wifi7 and so I got it and had it up and running within a few minutes once I got home. It's only one unit, and covers to house better than the three other nodes did. It has a very easy app and the coverage is great. The newer Amazon Echo devices even act as range extenders for this thing. All in all, I'm very happy with this product and glad I got it.
