I am 3 years in now with the eero echo-system and have been quite happy with their equipment. For this one, I needed two ports that were 5 Gig each throughput - not the 6 Pro provided by Frontier - 2.5 Gig and 1 Gig on the 6 Pro. I needed both to be at least 2.5 Gig throughput for my needs - so I relegated the one Frontier provided to me to another part of the house.
Anyway, I have this directly wired to the ONT from Frontier (optical network terminal) on to a QNAP 10 Gig switch with Cat 6A cable and it works flawlessly.
Plug and play is never easier with the eero system. I wish that I could have the 7 Max throughout the house, but overkill for now and quite expensive equipment. I have more than enough bandwidth to handle up to 40 streaming devices in 4K simultaneously - way more than enough bandwidth and equipment.
Quite happy and I actually love buying from my local Best Buy. It's nice to walk in and have a helpful person approach me with assistance.

Beyond Words - Absolutely Amazing to say the least! You put one by your Internet modem and plug 3 foot Ethernet wire in to new eero. Set the other 2 evenly in the house for best coverage. In my case, I put one in my office next to my computer. Then I ran another 3 foot Ethernet cable from my computer to my eero. On my old WiFi I was getting around 260 Now I’m getting over 1222mbps. This is insane, I wish I had done this long time ago!

lSo I purchased a 3-pack eero Pro 7 Tri-band Mesh Wi-fi 7 System. And, it doesn’t come with a wall mount so I recommend buying one to help with Wi-fi range. I waited several weeks before I decided to leave this product review bc I wanted to test the signal strength during cloudy days and rainy days, and it still operated with full bars. So signal was not interrupted at all whatsoever. I know it says the Wi-fi range is 6,000 square feet but the way I set up mine it still covered 12.7k of square footage. The way I had it done was in this mesh (circumference) I had 2 of these products installed on opposite ends at approximately 127 feet apart and set 1 product near the middle to strengthen the mesh. This product outperformed my expectations so if I could I’d give it a 10 star out of 5

This product was a signficant upgrade from my eero 6e 3 pack. However, this product signal strength is significantly weaker in further parts of a 1200 sqft apartment.

Big upgrade from 6E

I first started with EERO when the five series came out. It was excellent, and the coverage was great. But i preferred 2.5GbE for local data transfers between devices.
I upgraded… or so I thought… to the 6E, and they were a downgrade in many ways. Range was substantially lower, and I had a lot of dropouts throughout the day, making teleconferences finnicky and unreliable.
These wifi 7 models are excellent. Switching over was a breeze, and they are blazing fast. One of my favorite features about mesh systems is the wireless backhaul leaf creating a wireless connection that still physically connects to the Eero network. 0 packet loss on the new Wifi 7 compared to moments of 50-100% packet loss on the 6E within rated range.
The only downsides thus far is that the the subscription locks a lot of features behind a paywall of $10/month, even some of the most basic statistics. Additionally, there are only two ports on each unit. I’m not taking a star away because I knew the subscription was an existing detriment to all eero setups overall prior to pirchase. As for the ports, having only 2 ethernet posts can easily be mitigated with a 2.5GbE ethernet switch for less than $100. They likely did this to persuade users to upgrade to the pro seven…. For $1500.
If you plan on plugging in more than one device to the gateway, you need to buy a switch, so keep that in mind when you budget.
Another bonus that most people may have missed is that the previous Eero models only had a one year warranty. The new Wi-Fi seven models have a three-year warranty now so kudos to that.
Even if you don’t have any Wi-Fi seven enabled devices, which I don’t, I would still recommend this set hands down. Newer Wi-Fi adapters will have “multi-link operation” which is fully supported on this. It will theoretically allow you to connect to the 2.4 GHz and/or 5 GHz networks simultaneously for better reliability and speeds.

The eero Pro 7 Wi-Fi 7 router is an absolute game-changer for my home network. Setup was straightforward using the app, and I immediately noticed faster speeds and better coverage throughout the house, even in dead zones.
The tri-band mesh technology keeps multiple devices connected smoothly without lag, which is perfect for streaming, gaming, and working from home. The sleek white design fits nicely with my home décor too.
If you want a powerful, future-proof router that’s easy to manage, the eero Pro 7 is definitely worth it!

I’ve been using the Eero Max Mesh 7 and I absolutely love it. Setup was incredibly simple, the app is super intuitive, and the coverage is solid throughout my whole home. Speeds are fast and consistent, and everything just works without needing constant adjustments. For the price, it’s one of the best Wi-Fi 7 mesh systems out there. Highly recommend!

Our old router was losing the 2.4 ghz band causing the security cams to drop off the network. We had the 4 year replacement plan that had about 2 weeks left before it expired. We returned the old router and replaced it with the eero 7 Pro system mid October 2025.
Install was pretty simple, with the only option an app install process and with no web interface. Our application has two wired back haul nodes and one wireless back haul node. overall coverage in the house is near flawless without any small dead zones we observed with the old router. Our coverage footprint has also improved the signal for outside the home devices that were at the edge of coverage with the old router.
One tip for 2.4 ghz only device connection is go to settings then select troubleshooting. Then select my device is 2.4 ghz only. This will temporarily pause the 5 ghz network to allow 2.4 band connections. I believe older versions of the app had a toggle button for this function. Why it was rolled into the troubleshoot section is beyond me.
We did add the outdoor 7 this week so our coverage in the backyard pool area is crazy good.

After two months of use, the Eero Pro 7 system has been a game-changer. The setup was incredibly easy, and the system has been rock-solid with no glitches. Our 4,000 sq ft home is now fully covered with a strong, consistent signal.
Having worked in IT for 20 years, I've used many systems, including the Netgear Orbi for over eight years. The performance and ease of use of the Eero Pro 7 are a definite upgrade. This is a product I highly recommend

Upgrading to the Eero Pro 7 was the best decision for my home network. The setup was quick and painless, and the coverage is fantastic—every room in my house now gets strong, reliable Wi-Fi. Speeds are super fast, even when multiple devices are streaming, gaming, or working at the same time. I also love how the app makes it easy to check my network status and manage devices. If you’re looking for a fast, future-proof mesh system, the Eero Pro 7 is absolutely worth it.

These have performed far better than my previous mesh network. The mbps is much higher than my previous system. The overall range is far greater as well. The app is solid and setup is a breeze! Highly recommend!

I've purchased every generation of this product. I find the size of this is not ideal compared to the six and the five. However, the speed and set up keeps improving. Also to develop the mesh, gives you a lot more flexibility than it has in the past. In the future, for residential use, I would love to see this product reduced in size.

Easy setup. Great range and speed. Recently used a 3-pack for coverage in a 4,000 ft private home w/ Spectrum-provided 1 gigabit service. Excellent results.

Easy set up with the app, and awesome performance! I'm a gamer and my house is loaded with smart appliances. Haven't noticed any hiccups with connections at all. Highly recommend this mesh system if the price is right or you have the extra money to invest.

We bought this as a replacement for an Eero 3 which was accidentally damaged. Very easy to set up, great coverage throughout our dwelling. No issues with internet connection or coverage since we installed.

I finally gave up on more expensive Orbi units that keep dropping devices - especially apple devices - and switched to eero and I couldn’t be happier. It worked instantly, required no complicated settings, and every device has worked better and more reliably than ever. Very highly recommend- especially if you’re frustrated with Orbi. Eero is just plain better!
