Ok documentary on The Beatles with nothing much new to the table. The Beatles Anthology did a better job on the subject.

Fine as a film for a "History of the Beatles" class but most Baby Boomers I know were not that impressed.

My mistake, should have researched it before buying, this is two hours of your history, no music at all. Returning it today.

The Beatles Eight Days A Week The Touring Years

The Beatles: Eight Days A Week - The Touring Years is one of the best Beatles movies since A Hard Day's Night. Ron Howard directed this music documentary movie to take us back to the days that the Beatles performed every concert tour around the world from the beginning to the end. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr tell their side of what was it like performing in front of screaming fans who were there to witness the Beatles in concert. In addition, a few celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg and Sigourney Weaver tell what it was like watching the Beatles performing in concert.

A documentary worth seeing

Anyone who is not familiar with the Beatles will find it entertaining. For hardcore fans does not present a ton of new material on the Beatles' legacy, but Howard's narrative of the band from 1963 to 1966 is convincing in the details, which makes this documentary worth seeing.

This is a good documentary of the Beatles' Touring Years produced by Ron Howard. Some of the material in the movie I have seen before but Ron Howard does a good job of putting it all together. The bonus disc has some interesting interviews and full-length song performances. The only complaint I have is that this product does not have the entire Shea Stadium concert shown at the end of the film that was released in the theater. This is one reason I bought the package thinking it would be included but it was not. Be forewarned.
