A really great and fun film about the band we all love. Lots of incredible video, audio, pictures, and behind the scenes shots from their early years leading into Revolver and Sgt Peppers. If you love the Beatles you will love this.

The Beatles are part of Americas DNA, as much, if not a little more, than even England ! This is a wonderful movie showing the more casual Beatles fan about what went on in the heights of Beatlemania ! If you are a diehard fan, you already know much of this, BUT, It is beautiful! The restoration of the footage and music is incredible ! A MUST OWN !!!!

Let's face it you gotta love the Beatles or you wouldn't be watching this! The amount of work that went in to the editing of this is amazing! The audio is excellent and some stuff I've never seen! A great historical film! Why can't they re release Let It Be already? There must be so much extra footage! Come on give the project to Ron Howard!!!

A really swell documentary of the Beatles touring years in America. I t shows the highs and lows of celebrity and fame and what happens when The Beats don't do or say what others expect them to say. Who can blame them for not touring after 1966? A decent Ron Howard film. However, it would have been nice to see more of the Beatles live.

This documentary by Ron Howard is a great re-telling of the Beatlemania phenomenon. If you were around at the time, you will treasure the memories preserved expertly in this wonderful film. If you weren't, you will appreciate the what and the why behind all the screams and feverish energy that marked those incredible years.

It's a great video. I found it in my store which surprised me because my Best Buy phone app said it was available on line only. My only complaint is the price sticker covered up the fact it was Blue Ray not DVD and didn't find out until I got home. I don't have a Blue ray player but was able to watch it on my Xbox

Great story put together by Ron Howard. As a Diehard Beatles Fan I didn't think there was much to be learned by it. But there were some unknown facts that I got out of it. The Blu-Ray edition with the extra features were an extra bonus of material never before seen. I would recommend this to any Beatles Fan

Any movie that showcases what it was like as The Beatles rose to stardom until that decided to hang it up is going to get 5 stars from me. Ron Howard does a great job in bringing the viewer into their world and see what it was like as the roller coaster of BEATLEMANIA occurred. A must own for any Beatles fan.

I was born in 1965 and obviously, I was too young to experience the touring years! Ron Howard does an incredible job of directing this fascinating look of the overall hysteria that was The Beatles and their timeless music from this British pop group that changed Rock 'N Roll forever!!! A+++

Excellent bluray with a ton of extras! Saw it in the theatre, video xfer is perfect. Extras not in the theater version. Only wish it had the Shea Stadium concert which was included in the theater showing, but not on the bluray due to a lawsuit filed by the estate of the Sid Bernstein family.

First off, any Beatles fan worth his or her salt will want this - great new footage and interviews - but it came up a bit short for me. This aspect of the Beatles' story has been well gone over in other docs, so there is nothing really new here, narrative wise. I think the best and most unique parts are in the fan interviews, where we get personal perspectives on the Beatles and the madness from those who took part in it. If there was a bit more of that, I think this would have been truly exceptional. But its the Beatles, so of course it will bring a smile to your face.

What can you say about The Beatles anymore? They set the bar for everyone else. If you ever wanted to see what it was like when Rock N Roll was still new and fresh and nobody stood on a stage and ranted for hours on end, watch this film...then go find Let it Be to see what happened next.....

Ron Howard did a wonderful job capturing the Beatles touring years. There was some footage I had never seen before which surprised me, including footage from the Washington DC show that showed the drum set being setup backwards and Ringo trying to turn it around before they could start.

Bought this as a gift for a true Beatles fan. Enjoyed the film -- was able to see things I had never seen before, even after following the Beatles for years. Ron Howard is an excellent film maker and his devotion to his subject is evident in this film. An enjoyable watch for all ages.

I have been a Beatles fan all my life and seen a lot of programs on them, including the Beatles Anthology series. This was very good and made me better appreciate how much the band had to compose music and keep moving on to show performances. The overall movie was very well done.

I’m a huge Beatles fan and devour all release of their music as well as film and book. With that in mind, there was not a lot here that I didn’t already know. However, still a great documentary and the old footage of the fabs is mindblowingly updates.

Ron Howard found and restored some amazing footage and sound (primarily due to Giles Martin's talents). A pretty comprehensive overview of seven years of sweat, fun, controversy all entwined in the lives of four diverse musical friends. Buy it and watch it often.

Interesting insights into the Beatles with New Footage that most have never seen. Even the John comment on Jesus gets a much better treatment than I've ever seen before...more video on John explaining what he said and why. If you Love the Beatles GET THIS.
