The Touring Years documentary is a detail in depth look at the years the Beatles. While I enjoyed this documentary, as a lifelong fan, it was a lot of recycled footage and rehashed stories. But for the new or casual Beatles fan this is a great look at the inner workings of the band, and the stress of being 'The Beatles'. I would give this 5 stars, but for me there wasn't a whole lot of revelation.

I have been a Beatles fan all of my life so when I heard that this film was coming out about their touring years, I was extremely excited. However, I must admit there is nothing new here or revelatory. The story is exciting of course, and the interviews done are very fun. But I think the Beatles Anthology done 20 years ago is your better starting point. This film is like Anthology "Lite".

Ron Howard did an absolutely amazing job on this - don't know how much of this material was unseen before but it all seems as if it is brand new! BluRay is phenomenal

This blu-Ray set provides an excellent history of the Beatles during their early touring days. After watching this documentary you get an idea why they began doing studio-only work.

A must have for the ultimate Beatles fan! If you saw the movie in a theater, you only saw a portion of what is in this package that is loaded with many more minutes of extra features!

Ron Howard did a masterful job of telling the story of the Beatles early days. Great sound and cool videos. I wish it included the complete Shea Stadium footage as shown in theaters.

I had seen many of the photos and videos used in the film, but was surprised at the amount of information that I was unaware of. Definitely a great view if you grew up in the 60s!

Is very good to see this old footage and put it in the proper context of how advanced the Beatles were back in 1964 to 1966 is a shame they didn't show more of the rooftop concert

I'm an avid fan of beatles so i collect records, books, magazines, dvd, cds, vhs, anything that has their image. Even went to Liverpool just to have a feel of where they started.

If you are a fan of the group, this is required viewing. It's always great to find new footage of them, especially when you think you've already seen everything there is to see.

Definitely a must for any fan of the Beatles. There is a lot of footage that has never been seen before and some that has had limited exposure. Overall, an EXCELLENT purchase.

Everything about this set is great. The video and sound are of excellent quality. I love the art work and the booklet that comes with it. It's a must have for Beatles fans

Ron Howard's documentary brings back the thrills of Beatlemania and the British Invasion. The one disappointment is that the complete Shea Stadium performance is not included.

A great film to see in Blu-ray. Fun from start to finish. The rarities included are amazing and were gathered as a project to enhance the film. Loved it.

The Beatles are one of my favorite bands ever and Ron Howard is one of my favorite directors. What a great combination. I highly recommend this Blu-ray addition. Loved it.

Great look at the Beatles as they come to America. Excellent visuals of the band and insightful interviews with those in the know. Bonus material was well worth the view.

Must have if your a Beatle Fan. Got the Special Edition that contains extra footage. Picture quality is great, but must have a surround sound to enjoy and hear the music.

Been waiting for a while for this to be released-especially in the BluRay version. Enjoyed watching it very much. A must for anybody with any interest about the '60 music

Here we are, 50 plus years removed from the first US visit from the Beatles and we are still captivated. A must for any Beatles fan! Thank you Ron Howard for the film.

The whole family enjoyed this movie. The kids weren't aware of just how big the Beatles were--us oldsters loved remembering what it felt like to live through it.
