decent entry level center speaker. dialogue from tv shows and movies sound great.

I'm not an audiophile, but I like the sound that comes out of this center channel.

I returned this along with the 6.2 bookshelf speakers. I tried them out on my home theater system and they just didn't work like I wanted. I felt the tweeter was a little "reserved", not enough pop for movies. The speaker did sound good, just didn't fit my needs. I would recommend these for someone looking to listen mainly to music.

A little large for my intertainment cabinet but it has great sound

Love it but not as efficient as some. Get a powerful enough av receiver. Large enough that my TV just fits on top of it.

Picked these up on Black Friday sale along with the B6.2 bookshelves. Significant improvement in sound stage over my old Sony center speaker.

Good matching center for the elac debut series 2.0

I was a bit disappointed in mid-range performance. They really need the tweeter/mid combo the 5 1/2" model has.

Great sounding center speaker. Good quality sound.

When watching programs other than movies the voices are loud enough to be heard. But when watching movies the voices get lost in the other sounds. I turned up the center and turned down the front L and R but still not clear enough for me. Going to exchange for something else. Bummer.

Got a lower price item. Why?!:( No time for returning!

I compared the ELAC 6.2 to several other center channel systems while at Best Buy's Magnolia listening rooms in West Palm Beach. I was truly impressed by the efficiency and depth of this center speaker. I also want to say how much I appreciated being left alone in the listening room so I could handle all of the switching and comparisons, myself. I understand this is not normally permitted, but the sales associate was very understanding and obviously trusted me after a brief "interview". I'm writing this review due to my surprise as to how much better this speaker performs than systems costing, literally, twice as much. This is the only center speaker I could find that had almost a magical, non-digital softness without losing any clarity or definition. I do recommend setting your crossover to 80. I'm running this through a Pioneer 502 with a pair of DT 9020's, a supercube and a pair of acoustimass III modules on stands for surround. The only speaker system that came close to the superb sonics of the ELAC Debut 2.0 6.2 was the Definite Technology series -- All of them (the DT's) at all price points, were excellent and exceeded, in my opinion, all other selections available in the listening rooms at Best Buy....except for this one singularly amazing speaker, the ELAC DEBUT 2.0 6.2. Go listen.

Went through a few others but this one is great. Better than the Def TEC it's replaced and the Polk before that. Pair it with the ELAC 6" floor speakers and you will not be sorry.

Big speaker with big sound that also lets you notice the fine details. Great value. Sounds very natural voices are very well represented at all levels and tones.
