This is one of the best video games I've ever played and that's before playing the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, game has a very fun challenge attached to it and I've spent over 200 hours playing this game since I got it, the visuals are gorgeous, the world is full of surprises, the combat is to fun play with and the game has an interesting multiplayer system where you can cooperate or compete with other players playing the game.

The Best Elden Ring Experience

Not much to say about Elden Ring that hasn't already been said. This game is a religious experience. It takes everything "Souls" and slaps you in the heart of a forlorn world full of terror - for a hundred hours or more. Interestingly, the PS4 version is, in the opinion of many, the very best console version (Obviously PC would be superior, but we're talking console). The Xbox Series X and PS5 versions stutter and suffer from too many frame rate issues, If you play the PS4 version in a PS5, you will get a silky smooth 60FPS while still having 99% of all of the graphics worth caring about.

Easily the best game of the last few years. It’s not for everyone Sure but a lot more welcoming than games like dark souls or bloodborne. Please be advised this game is a challenge but it’s a very climbable mountain. I platinumed this game after 186 hours and still find new things. It’s like a better Skyrim meets dark souls.

Nice game I think one of the best video games I have in my collection of video game and if you are a new player of this type of games it will be a bit easier than other games from fromsoftware the only problem in my opinion is that some bosses a very repetitive but overall a very very good game 10/10

You know what you're getting if you've ever played a From Software game. This is more of the same captivating risk/reward gameplay loop that we all love with an even bigger world to explore in. This game is massive! Highly Recommended.

Incredible game! It is very dense and the exploration is incredibly fun. Been playing this game for many nights and I absolutely love the combat and the amount of enemy variety. The boss fights are enthralling and an adrenaline rush!

Albeit I have not made is very far in this game despite having it since the preorder date, I have greatly enjoyed it and love all the different combat styles and enemies. Definitely a good first "souls" game to play in my opinion.

I keep hearing this is the easiest soulsborne game and that’s scary. I didn’t think I’d like it since I sucked at Dark Souls but 120 hours in and I guess I’m a fan. The map is so ridiculously large there’s always something to discover.

I expect the people that read this review to have never experienced the Kingdoms of Miyazaki, for if you have ever been a Chosen Undead, a Bearer of the Curse, an Ashen one, or a Hunter, then you know what awaites you in the lands between young Tarnished. Try finger, But Hole.
To everyone else, this experience shall be unlike any other. A harrowing adventure into an open world game, where even the pottery may kill you.
Make no mistake, This is a Soulsborne Game, and you will die over and over again, but Fromsoftware have created masterpiece after Masterpiece and this time they finally created a way for everyone to enjoy it.
The story appears to be a simple sidequest that snowballs into a much larger issue.
The gameplay, for beginners can be a bit tricky. You will start the game confused and it will slam you into a wall, HARD. afterwards you will need to pick up the pieces, and there will be a way down into a hole. Go there to learn the game, trust me. If you cant beat someone, stop trying...go fight something you can beat and level up, then come back and destroy the thing you got stuck on.
The graphics to the game are gorgeous. In some places there are stunning views ahead. The creatures you fight are fleshed out really well, and this is the first Fromsoftware Souls game where jumping was a simple Button press.
The difficulty is up there, but now you have several ways to make the game easier. From ghost summons that cost you naught but a little magic from your vial, to being able to summon randoms or friends into your world, thos game has beed made with you in mind....yes you, the one who complains that darksouls was too hard...yea, elden ring can be easier....or harder if you allow it to be.
So in all, from 1-10, I would give Elden Ring
10/10 For Ashen Ones, Hunters, Bearers, and Chosen Undead
9/10 for those seeking a game worthy of its pricetag in length and quality.
8/10 For everyone thats cautious about a fromsoft game after playing Sekiro
5/10 for those that hate the challenges of Souls games.
1/10 for Dog

I avoided playing Souls-like games for a very long time after a brief, confusing and frustrating foray into the original Dark Souls. But with a new PS5 for Father's Day and Starfield not coming out until September, I decided I needed a new, challenging game that would keep me occupied over the summer, even if the game killed me again and again and again. Which it does, repeatedly, but not in the way I expected. It's a challenging game to be sure and doesn't hold your hand in the slightest, but the massive open world doesn't force you into impossible boss fights if you aren't ready. The opening areas are large enough to be a game in their own right and there's plenty to explore as you carefully develop your character and learn the game's mechanics. So 20 hours in, the game has me hooked and I'm plotting how to get ready to take on the boss who so effortlessly crushed me ten levels ago. Don't be too proud to consult online guides, there are hidden wonders in every nook and cranny. Aside from that, the graphics and visual design are fantastic, there are a ton of RPG elements and although I'm starting with standard hack and slash, there are lots of magic user options as well. TLDR: Great game, broad and deep, it will make you a smarter player.

I guess this game is good. I bought it because of the hype but I've never been a fan of Souls games so that was my fault! But even with me stupidly buying a game I knew I wouldn't like, I can still be objective. The graphics are amazing and the exploration is unmatched. Besides my dislike of Souls games I can say that Elden Ring seems to have mastered the open world formula. I was always curious about what I had just come across and explored everything until I was disrespectfully handed my rear end by one of the games MANY enemies.
So yea, not a fan of constantly having to retread a lot of ground because I slipped up and died to a basic enemy, but everything else about Elden Ring is pretty solid. I hope whoever bought the used copy I traded in has more fun with it than me, though.

I can't give this game enough stars. If you have ever played a From Software game, you will love this. If you like a challenge, you will love this, if you loved Bloodborne, you will LOVE this. This very well may be game of the year, but so far, this may be my all time favorite game ever. There is so much to do and explore, bosses to kill and danger at every turn. it is gorgeous, and wonderful and so fun to play.

This is a fantastic game. The world setting is and art direction is a 10/10 and the music and story is a 9/10. You can just get lost exploring the world, which is huge it ended up being like 3 times bigger then i thought it would be. And it captures that magic that the Breath of the Wild world exploration had.
Overall the game play is an 8/10. I say this comparing it to Sekiro which is a 9/10. But this is a refinement of the souls born formula for sure.
You might have some issues with the bosses which act more like the aggressive BloodBorn bosses rather then the more methodical bosses from Dark Souls.
