Still don't understand the hype

I was never excited about souls games due to their difficulty, but everything i read and watched online said this one was different and was absolutely amazing. I played a good 10 hours and yes it is hard, but not impossible, i just didn't see what others did in the game thinking it was the best thing since sliced bread. Stopped playing it and haven't gone back. Maybe one day I will, but with all the games out there probably not. Guess just these types of games are not my cup of tea.
