Our technician was really kind and answered as much as he could , was his first e bike install but couldn’t tell by how easy and quick the process was.

The employees who came to assemble my bike were kind and professional, and I'm sure tried their best. But they admitted they had never worked on an e-bike before, and I understand that a company like BestBuy can't possibly train all of their employees thoroughly on every sort of product they sell, but in the instance of items like this, I think they need to find a better and safer way to work on their products that could pose significant safety risks to their purchasers. For instance, I had a pedal fly off of my bike in the middle of riding it after only haven rode it a very small amount of times. I swerved onto the road and struck a vehicle. I spent several hours in the ER because of this. Fortunately, there was no serious injury, but there certainly could have been. I have attempted to have the issue fixed by speaking with customer service and by going to the store, but every time they tell me to go find someone else to fix the problems, even though the employees were all perfectly kind. But the issue was not caused by the manufacturer, it was assembled by people who had not been properly trained. I don't want to be told to find someone else to help. I want Best Buy to fix the situation themselves.

They did not have a way of putting air in my tires. I had to take my bike to a bike shop to have my ties inflated. My handlebars and seat were loose, my husband had to fix. Save your self the trouble and go to a bike shop for assembly.

The service that was provided for my treadmill super. The team came right in unpacked the treadmill and put it together. They took their time and it is up and running. It was something could not do.

I was so impressed with the fact that Best buy would send someone to my house to assemble an electric bike. They did a great job and made my world a lot easier.

The bike was pre assembled and delivered. Only need to further inflate the tires.

The Geek Squad put my bicycle together and they were great. They encountered a problem with the factory screws and worked around it.

Geek Squad was good they put my bike together perfectly no problems delivered it showed me the process of what to do how to go about using the bike

Technician was nice and acknowledged that he has no knowledge about setting this bike up. Took a while to install and wasn't even done well. Front wheel makes a noise and he didn't even have equipment to put air in the wheels. If you guys are charging over 100 bucks for a service, then please have actual bike technician and proper equipments. Already made an appointment with a third party bike technician who will give me premium service with the same amount that you guys charged. Gotta be better BestBuy

Not a knock on the tech himself. He acknowledged his error and graciously accepted responsibility. But Best Buy asking their technicians to now take on a new skill -- assembling a bike -- in addition to everything else they do is absurd. Best Buy sells enough bikes that they should hire BIKE TECHNICIANS to do the assembly and allow Geek Squad to DELIVER the assembled bike. In my case, a friendly 16-year BB vet came to deliver my Stride ebike. Needing to open the manual and refer to online assembly videos, it took him about an hour to assemble it. He presented it to me to check out. I pumped up the tires and took it for a quick ride around the block. Upon returning home I noticed the front hub wasn't fastened down tight. That's because the tech didn't install a critical part - a washer. Without it installed, the axle nut ground against the fork and the compression spring was completely unwound. He acknowledged the front hub didn't "look right" after all - after allowing me to ride around the block. He then found the washer (it was in the parts bag, he just missed it), he reinstalled it and while it was fine, there was damage to all of the parts from the improper installation. So while they're sending a new bike over Sunday (and I imagine the tech will now assemble it in half the time having done it at least one, unless it's a new tech), I just can't recommend Best Buy's ebike assembly service. If you do go that route, take the bike to a bike mechanic to give it a proper one-over.

I wish I give negative star.. they fixed my bike onsite and the brake was making some noise when asked they said it will get better as i use it.. with just one use it got worst and to the extent that you will be deaf if you will drive it.. they sent a technician to look at it but the technician said he fixes tv not bike and left.. useless pirchase

The electric bike assembly was my biggest mistake by far… look I hate to be negative but this actually upsets me. I purchased a 2200$ ebike and the guy that assembled/ delivered my bike out it together wrong and I’ve had some issues granted it’s looks like I was able to fix it but I had to disassemble the whole back of the bike and redo it and I fear this stripped screw hole will cause issues later on in life. The bike was not assembled corrected there were 2 important bracket screws that were literally only only half way in and one went in crooked so it stripped the hole. I think the guy was rushing and a result of that was poor Workmanship the breaks had to be redone as well as they didn’t come close to stopping me at all on my test drive. Worst experience ever and I would literally never recommend anyone use this service ever in their life it was a waste of money and all I got out of it was a damaged bike
