Love my new cooktop! It is so easy and fun to use - a real joy!!

My measurements off by less than 1/4 inch. Still had to pay to cut even with Best Buy tech membership. Folks were knowledgeable & helpful. Demonstrated operation before they left.

He was an excellent professional who installed our dishwasher as well as our top induction stove. He left everything cleaned and organized. He was informative about what type of cookware to get for a great outcome when cooking.

Stephen Overstreet, the third party installer was simply amazing! After ordering 3 cooktops that did not fit the cutout in my granite countertop he was the ONE person that suggested a trim kit. He was professional, showed up on time and got the cooktop installed in minutes. I am so grateful for his knowledge!

The Thor cooktop is excellent! What wasn’t good was the installation. Yes it got dropped into the countertop. But no brackets were used to insure it’s secure. And yes I got three wire nuts. But the cable is dangling and my drawers below the cooktop no longer close properly all the way in without forcing them to close. Just not professional at all. Friendly guys but not professional.

The installers were excellent. They were punctual and very neat. They were extremely professional and polite. They showed me how to work the cooktop. They had the cooktop installed in 15 minutes. Excellent crew

Steve did an excellent job; he is a 3rd party installer from Corpus. I Only want him to instal a vent hood because he has the knowledge and skills to take care of the job properly.

It’s a very nice oven. The only problem I have is I think the oven takes too long to preheat!

Horrible experiences! 1) The first Best Buy tech: while he was on his way to my home, he called me to verify the address. I attempted to assist him but he rebelliously argued with me about the fact that he was at the correct address, To enable to me assist him, asked him to honk his horn in his vehicle-I heard his car horn over on the block behind my house. Yes, he was actually on the next block over. He was on a completely different street with a street name that was not even remotely similar to my street name. As a matter of fact, the house where he was at, was on a street that ran PERPENDICLAR to my street. I was appalled that he had the edacity to argue with me about being at the wrong address. I walked to the other street and guided him to my home. Then, when he came into my home to take measurements for the appliances that I wanted to order, he began to argue with me again about the way he was measuring. I turned my statements into a question so that he could see the error in his methodology. He saw immediately that he was wrong, but began to make excuses for what he had done. Then he got callawampus with me about work that I had to do to prepare for the installation of a different appliance that I was planning to order (dishwasher). I just accepted what he said, in spite of his downtrodden demeanor. I ordered and paid for the appliances immediately. Approximately six weeks later (my busy schedule), the appliances arrived....the installers, upon unboxing the dishwasher, discovered that it was missing a critical component. They said that they would have to get a replacement. Then the installers discovered that the cooktop was too small to fit in the place where the original tech had measured. Another cooktop had to be ordered and scheduled for installation. Fortunately, the microwave fit! About three weeks later, the installers arrived with a functioning dishwasher. It was installed but was unable to be hooked up. Apparently, there was a pipe under my sink that needed a special fitting to connect to the dishwasher drain. The original installer/technician that took the measurements, who also told me that I had to make sure there was a GFCI for the washer to plug into, did not realize that the drain fitting for the dishwasher was not available on said pipe. Finally, the cook top was ready to be installed. Unfortunately, the installers realized that the cooktop was the wrong size. I compared model number and size of the previously attempted cooktop installation and saw that this was the same model & size of the previous failed cook top installation three weeks prior! I was ticked off, especially because the previous installers had remeasured the counter top where the new cook top was to be installed. I called Best Buy at that very moment when the second cooktop installation failed and explained...... I am still awaiting a new cooktop, even though I paid for everything, including the installation for all the appliances on September 21, 2023. Best buy has reached out to me via phone call and email several times to try to assist me find a comparable cooktop that fits. In doing so, their efforts seem disenguious at best. For my part in this catastrophe, I have allowed my frustration get the BEST (Buy) of me. This has definitely not been a Best Buy year for me and my family! This is not the only failed situation with Best Buy during the last twelve months. I have had some other serious issues with a $2500 television, two (six camera) Arlo systems and a huge Ring security system that I had purchased & installed. Additionally, I had a $2500 washer/dryer set purchased/installed, only to have the installers take with them, an important tool. They took away with them, as garbage, a tool that the end user would use to change the direction that the washer door opens. This tool was taken away as garbage when they were finished with the installation. After two attempts of working with my in-home Best buy consultant, best Buy had a replacement tool, that came with the washer, sent to me. Rant over.....as I look at other providers of tech and home appliances.

Everyone we dealt with was great. The in home shopper was terrific. The installers were superb. The in store people were very helpful. Unfortunately it took a month for the cook top to come in and we spent a fortune eating out.
