Lone Star Installers - removed the stovetop and installed the new unit with no issues. Then they said I needed a 6-inch exhaust hose. The previous KitchenAid had a 5 inch hose with connectors to from 6 inches to 5 inches. This 6-inch hose was available from Lowes and Home Depot for $25 about 1 mile from my house. The installers had to have spotted this at the time of removal from old unit and elected to not say a work until it was time to reconnect. It was at that time they informed me they had a 6 inch flex exhaust duct hose on their truck and it would only be $200. I balked then he said OK I will take $150. I new I was being scammed or ripped off and thought I would not get in a heated conflict with these two installers and would contact the company manager to resolve this. This $150 almost matches the amount I had already paid to Best Buy for the installation. The manager at first ignored me and said they did me a favor by taking my $150. This was a clear case of extortion. Best Buy never use this company to do installations for your company. One other item note worthy the removal company I paid Best Buy $50 for showed up at 8:00 AM to take the Electric Stove Top that was hard wired and would have to be disconnected first. The installers did not show until 1:30pm. Another waste of my money for this company to do nothing.

The scheduled service was on time and installed properly. The service protection and installment package is worth the money. The service was completed with the stove top. The serviceman cleaned up up everything when leaving the job site.

Excellent installation techs. It was a challenging job for the first two crews and finally the third team achieved a good result.

It is efficient and sleek my entire family is really enjoying cooking on it.

The install crew did an excellent job in placing the new cooktop in place. Took there time on adjustments. On next install purchase I would have the crew.

This was a replacement for a previous cooktop that was defective probably because it wasn't installed correctly. This installer was skilled and professional.

We used a 3rd party installer due to scheduling delay. Need to figure out a better way to clean the cooktop as i cook a LOT

Great to have a GE cooktop available again. Its now much more expensive than before. Not sure why. Does have a metal bevel on two sides now compared to the old one.

Install area for a cooktop replacement was surveyed to insure replacement would fit. Carlos & Dakota did a thorough job. Made me confident the new cooktop I was considering would fit with minimal to no modifications.

This purchase was perfect Stephen Schlag was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was the Best Buy rep who sold us all of our appliances (diswasher, washer/dryer, microwave, refrigerator, wall oven, and cooktop). Everything was perfect with the sale. Stephen was very accommodating. Great job.

Installation and prurchase were handled very smoothly

This is a very dangerous stove. Every time you barely bump it the burners turn on. We are going have to get rid of it before the house burns down.

The down draft cooktop had more features, then I expected. Two burners can expand into one long burner for example to put a turkey roasting pan on it.
