    The original installation was a joke. The guys who delivered the dryer had zero understanding. I showed them how to mount the pedestal drawer. They were going to leave without installing the water line (for steam) until I drew it to their attention. They left with a kink in the dryer vent hose and with the machine extremely out of level. In their defense, they were seasonal third-party contractors who had no training. I drew it to Best Buy's attention, and they had a regular Geek Squad follow up that was flawless. Anyone can have a problem. The measure of a great company is taking care of any problems promptly, and Best Buy met that challenge.

    On 6/1/21 I ordered two LG pedestals for an LG washer and dryer I had purchased a few years ago. They arrived in excellent condition on 6/7/21. I then scheduled and paid Best Buy for an order to install the pedestals. Best Buy sent a third party contractor on 6/14/21 to do the installation. Once the worker saw the pedestals, washer and dryer he became irate and refused to do the installation while pointing out that the pedestal would not fit the dryer. I said OK -then please put the other pedestal on the washer. He refused and left. After consulting with LG they confirmed that that model pedestal would not fit the dryer but would definitely fit the washer. I subsequently returned one of the pedestals to Best Buy and received a refund. I then hired a local appliance technician who had no trouble installing the pedestal on the washing machine. I then applied to Best Buy or 6/17/21 for a refund for the installation that had not been accomplished. The customer service rep said they had to clear my request with the warehouse because the installation order had me marked complete. She said the warehouse would call me in a few days for more information. Not getting any response by 6/23 I called Best Buy Customer Service again. The said they would escalate my request and gave me a case number. Not receiving a response by 6/29/21 I again called BB Customer Svc who said they would immediately process a refund to my credit card which should be posted to my card within two weeks. On 7/16 with no credit posted to my card I again called BB Customer Svc. The rep apologized for the rep I talked with on 6/29/21 because there was no record that they had sent the credit to my credit card. They said they I could either go to a local BB store and process a credit to my card for the entire amount of the credit or they could send my a refund check less taxes paid that should arrive within two weeks. Again they provided me with a new case number. It's now 7-17-21 so I'm patiently waiting for my check. I believe that BBuy should develop a procedure to ensure that when a customer asks for work to be accomplished after a previous purchase - like installing pedestals to existing appliances - they are advised that Best Buy third party contractors do not perform that type of work.

    My understanding was that the installation team should be filling the rinse aid in the dishwasher before letting us use the machine which comes with the product, found out later and we had to fill it ourselves.

    They unstacked my washer from dryer and charged me 300.00. Now on the initial call they said they could do it for 100.00. The manager or someone didn't like the fact we didn't buy our appliances from there and up charged us! We have geek squad with them for the last 7 years and use them 2 times! They could have been more courteous to loyal customers!

    We were supposed to have the water line hose connected to the dryer during installation, but the installers didn't do it. To their credit, BestBuy sent out a crew to install the water line when they came to install the new range.

    We recently moved and Best Buy worked with me to reinstall the washer and dryer we purchased from them over a year ago and they did a great job. The team they sent was able to get this done easily and effortlessly.

    Great install service. Installation took 5 minutes once the dryer was in place. Installer was professional and helpful, able to answer my questions. One of my questions involved how the wires were connected in the back; once the installer explained this, I felt I could install a dryer in the future.

    It took a while to get the correct Person to our house to change the dryer vent from side to rear; however, once he arrived we felt extremely confident that he knew what he was doing. He did an excellent job and vacuumed the entire laundry room before he left.

    Moved from central Florida to Tallahassee.... movers did/could not connect my Dryer to the exhaust duct. I attempted & failed!!! Best Buy did it... PERFECTLY in 30 minutes. Thanks, Jim

    Dryer wasn’t completed on 1st instal. They stripped a screw and I had to replace myself. They didn’t bring side vent kit so rear vent was installed. The asked me to reschedule and they did not show up 2 times in a row. The next time when they actually did show up, the installer said he was there for dishwasher install(was already installed) but after speaking to his manager he admitted his installer didn’t know how to install a side vent. Rescheduled again and they didn’t show up again so I gave up on the install since I did not feel like it was actually going to get installed and I’m not willing to wait around anymore for someone to show up when they didnt 2 other times. Also did not want to wait again for an installer who does not how to do the work correctly. Very disappointed with Best Buy install. I have had issues all the way back to the initial fridge, dishwasher and washer install.
