Purchased this in emergency, awaiting a build in microwave.
It worked like a charm. Plenty of space inside, even heating.
Only drawback, the keypad/control was not as responsive, there seemed to be a delay, but overall was happy with this simple unit. True value for machine

had to purchase another one of these microwaves because initial microwave stopped working. hopefully this will last longer than 4 years.

Overpriced and inferior

I purchased this product and 2 months after the warranty expired, it quit working. This should not happen under normal use. To fix it, would cost more than what it would take to replace it. Also, to get the stainless look, you have to purchase a kit for over $200.00 that is made sooooo cheap and flimsy. Over all I would not recammend this product to my worse enemy.

Very nice while it lasted, easy to use. Large capacity, heat quickly. Have to press keypad little hard though, and keypad is plastic and scratches easily, however the numbers are protected by the plastic layer, so numbers can not rub off.
Sadly, it died after 2 yrs and 4 months. I had it warranteed. Repair is more expensive than cost of new one, only got replacement value of cheapest available (1/2 price-which did not include a trim kit) I did not want to replace trim kit, so hope that microwave was a lemon, and bought an identical new microwave.

Unreliable and poor service

Do not buy kitchen appliances from Electrolux! The microwave computer board has failed three times in two years. Now the door lock mechanism has failed internal to the door. Once again, the microwave is inoperable. Build quality is terrible. Customer service is worse!!! Save yourselfnamheadache and buy any other brand. I wish I had.

Died young, and Electrolux product support is bad

Bought an Electrolux over the range microwave 2 years ago at a cost of $800. It is their "Flagship" Wave Touch model, and almost 2 years to the day after I bought it the Wave Touch panel died. It was 1 year out of warranty, so I contacted Electrolux to locate a certified repair facility. The repairman said that it could be 1 of 3 different problems and the only way to be sure was to test replacement parts. Unfortunately, Electrolux will not allow the return of ANY part, even if it isn't the right one. Long story short, I could potentially spend $444 in parts and up to 6 hours of labor to fix this thing, which I obviously won't do. I contacted Electrolux to speak to a customer service supervisor and was told I would be contacted. As yet, I have not, and I'm not holding my breath. The people at Electrolux actually seemed pleased that the microwave survived the warranty period of one year! Beware - Electrolux is no longer the company that built the stuff your parents and grandparents had for years. It's stylish, but very expensive, of poor quality, and comes with no worthwhile customer or product support.
