The vacuum does it all. After owning my previous electrolux for 20 years I knew I wanted another one. I have a feeling this one will last just as long..

I bought this and the Shark Rotator Professional Lift Away, and ended up returning this. For straight up vacuuming they both did great. This one looks a lot better too. The shark just has so many more useful attachments for the same price. The brush cleaner seems like a good idea, but a pair of scissors every few weeks can do the same thing. I didn't really understand how to use the "versi-tool" from this one. I'd only recommend if they didn't care about extra attachments.

This vacuum Beats my Dyson hands down picks up better and cheaper. would recommend to any one with a pet cleans hair up very well. Only thigh wrong is gets full fast.

Thank you Best Buy for in-store testing of your products. Our sales guy was great, tossing the dust/dirt collections on the carpeted floor, allowing us to vacuum with as many vacuums we wished! I was down to two choices, the regular Dyson and this Electrolux model. I expected the Dyson to do a far better job, although it took several passes to pick up the 'pile'. Testing this Electrolux with the same 'pile', I was sold, as it took just one pass!!! The Dyson also blew the contents of the pile around as the vacuum approached it. The Electrolux had air blowing from the side, not the front, like the Dyson. We're all enjoying our Electrolux, showing each other how much it picked up from just one room!

My mother had a Electrolux cleaner when I was a kid she used and loved it for 40 plus yrs and I love the extra power suction and the way it cleaned

Best vaccum hands down! I had a Dyson which was excellent. Loved that vacuum. Until the motor burned up. It might have been a fluke, but when I went to exchange it, they were all out. I saw this new vacuum which was 200 bucks less. It turned out to be the best vacuum I've ever owned. Compared to my Dyson, the Electrolux has everything the Dyson does. Heap filter, no suction loss. But the Electrolux has a better build quality. Feels more powerful too. Definitely worth every dollar, and then some.

My upright Electrolux vacuum has very good suction power. It picks up much better than my old Kirby vacumn. Would highly recommend it.

We originally bought the top of the line Dyson Animal and weren't happy with some aspects. At that price point we should absolutely love it, so we read reviews on vacuums and found this gem. It's a smaller vacuum but moves great. It's suction is right up with the Dyson and is doesn't have the "ball technology" that the Dyson had whichmade it difficult to maneuver. I couldn't be happier with this vacuum.

For the price I would bet there is nothing better out there. The amount of dog hair and other "crud" this vacuum picked up over the first few uses was shocking - I couldn't believe what my old vacuum was leaving behind. Having a new little one just starting to crawl it was very important to us to get a vacuum that was a superior performer at a reasonable price. 5 Stars no question, would recommend to anyone.

This vacuum is lightweight and easy to carry upstairs and downstairs. The canister detaches easily to empty contents. It has strong suction. I am overall pleased with my purchase!

Electrolux performs better than a Dyson. Had a Dyson and it fell apart after awhile- hose broke and electrical cord frayed and eventually ripped apart. Electrolux has great suction power and is easy to use.

I was rather surprised to get this product home and find out it did not have any of the attachments included. I have made three calls to Electrolux customer service so far, and I still do not have all the attachments. Today I was told by a different representative that the model I purchased does not come with attachments. I told him the other two people I have spoken with said this particular model does come with the attachments and I would like have them. He said he would have to look into this and call me back. As of now, I have not heard back from anyone and I am still missing one last attachment. Am I satisfied with the vacuum? Possibly. I really won't know that until I get all the attachments and I can put this to the test.

Has awesome suction for a beginner vacuum. The brushroll cleaning device comes in handy when taking care of strands of threads from the carpet stuck in brushroll. Hate the release button for the extension. Love the fact that there's no hoses hooked up from the base to the canister. The only time you deal with any hoses, it's when using the extension.

My 7 year old Vax vacuum finally gave out and I was looking for a replacement. I read several reviews about this Electrolux that said it performed better than the comparable Dyson. I must agree! This vacuum has unbelievable suction! When I have used it on my large area rugs, it literally will pull the rug up off the floor. Another nice feature is the brush hair removal feature. You simply press a switch and it removes any hair or wound up fibers on the brush roll.
