I buy these all the time to add to my Origin account for purchasing Sims4 add-ons but it seems like a lot of people are having problems redeeming the codes because they aren't doing it right... so here are directions:
#1 open up your ORIGIN account (the tile button should be on your desktop) or go to Origin.com, make sure you are logged in.
#2 on the top tab where it says Origin/Games/Friends/View/Help -- CLICK ORIGIN
#3 select EA ACCOUNT & BILLING from the drop down menu (do NOT click "redeem product code"-- that is for a GAME code NOT a gift card!!)
#4 it will automatically open a new browser window that takes you to your Customer Portal with your personal billing information like your name, address and credit cards on file.
#5 You want to click on the left side menu "PAYMENT METHODS" (once again, do NOT click "redeem product code")
#6 Click the button that says ADD MORE to your EA Wallet and then enter the gift card number from the email you got from Best Buy after your purchase.
#7 within seconds the funds will post to your account and you can then USE your EA WALLET as your PAYMENT METHOD when purchasing add-ons in game or on the Origin site. Note: You may have to click "edit payment options" when you are in the shopping cart ready to pay IF you had a credit card set as your DEFAULT payment method. Just click "edit" and then select "use EA Wallet" which will be your gift card funds. If your wallet funds are enough to cover the total cost then you're done and whatever pennies are left over are saved in your wallet for next time, otherwise it'll just deduct it and the difference will then be charged to your default credit card on file.
It really is so easy but you have to understand gift cards are considered a payment method NOT a "product code." Hope this helps and puts you at ease from the other comments claiming the codes don't work properly.

I got my Giftcard within an hour. I just take in account weather, and other issues. I have ordered and e-gift card of this type before and it there within 10 minutes. I love it overall and it’s easy to put on ea and buy games.
