the problem with these early comic book movies is that every one of them is an origin story. that doesn't leave much room for an actual story. jennifer garner is okay but it's the bad guys that are more interesting. for a budget blu ray, it's a buy.

Another cool Marvel character brought to life for your viewing pleasure. Definitely worth watching with your daughters to give them a good sense of woman empowerment. My 8 year old daughter enjoyed it, watching a girl kick so much butt.

Jennifer Garner stars as Elektra an outstanding fighter. Filled with great action sequences that make it worthwhile despite a thin plot this film is worth purchasing for anyone who likes Marvel Superhero films.

This film from the Marvel Studios is mediocre at best. Not part of the "Marvel Universe" movies/tv shows, about all it really has going for it is Jennifer Garner.

This was a spin-off from the movie Daredevil. Not good and just slightly better than that movie. Jennifer Garner is a wooden actress and no emotion at all.

Jennifer Gardner kills it as Elektra!!! I wanted to add the movie to my collection of Marvel movies. Overall pretty good. Definitely good to see a female superhero movie

Purchase because of the leading actress, too far fetched and the plot never develops. One of the worst movies I have seen in 10 years

This is a one time watch for some people...I guess i can watch every couple of years but this movie has some bad acting and feels rushed.

While I didn't enjoy this as much as Daredevil, I am glad I have it in my blu-ray collection. Solid sound and visuals.

I purchased this for the main reason that I am a nerd and I want to own every Marvel superhero movie. I really enjoyed Daredevil (I am the only one among my friends that did), so I figured this would pick up where the other left off. It did, but it lacked the same character that I felt that Daredevil had. Still, not a bad overall movie. I think Jennifer Garner does a good Elektra.

Not too many female superhero movies out there, but this wasn't too bad, would watch again!

I still have this only because Jennifer garner is cute, Smart, and a good action hero that can kick butt. But three stars because the movie kinda sucked. Daredevil the PG-13 version was better. I would give it three and a half stars because Ben affleck is not a good actor in my book, he ruined Batman.

Jennifer garner does action well. Watch Daredevil to understand the characters origin.

Another try and was surprised so got the pre-movie Daredevil and that was OK but the Electra was worth the viewing.

Jennifer Garner plays the title role with sublime dexterity and impresses throughout with amazing sword play and super hero antics extraordinaire. The usual bad guy good guy plot with a young female protege mentored by Jennifer shows originality and some fine scenes touching and action throughout. A fine little getaway from the Summer rerun circuit on television. Recommended as great fun.

Well this was my wifes choice, got to say it does have good action , plot is good , a bit off ...but i get it!
