Since I have a desktop I opted for an internal capture card. The card easily fits in any open PCI-e slot and you don't even have to use their software if you prefer to use OBS or something else. Only one time I had it telling me to "please wait" but the issue resolved after a reboot; I suspect that one of the video conferencing calls might have still been using the input which made it unavailable for OBS. Overall very pleased with the card's performance.

I purchased this card to capture the screen of a separate computer. For this purpose, it works very well. It captures the other computer in full HD resolution and no lag to see. While capturing I can use the HDMI output port to pass through the signal to the separate computers monitor. The issue I have with it is that for some reason its HDMI output port doesn't appear to allow for passive passthrough. Meaning that I have to have the card on and active for the separate computer's monitor to have any signal. This means that both machines need to be on to have an output of the separate computer. Kinda frustrating.

The card was easy to set up, and came with everything needed to start using it immediately. The Elgato Game Capture software is mostly reliable, however I've noticed that on occasion it loses the ability to connect to some of the streaming services available, such as mixer. There are ways around this, but having to remove the account and re-add it every time is a bit of a hassle. Overall, a great capture card with no perceptible latency.

So I was looking for a way to atream the newer console generation and found this at the local best buy. It took me some thinking before I caved and bought it. Also for me it took me a bit of figuring out on getting it working. I have long days at work and well it was rough finding time to do so. Anyways I got it working and it is amazing! I streamed my Switch games and it was flawless! Best for people who wanna stream aome console games! Would recommend!

Everything I wanted and more. My family uses the TV and we only have one so I didn't want to hog it trying to play my games on it so I wanted to be able to do all my gaming at my pc setup. Thankfully this answered all of that now I can kick back and play my Switch and PS5 games on my monitors without interfering with anyone. Super easy to install BTW.

I bought this to steam animal crossing from my switch! I just installed its software and in less then 30 seconds after I had animal crossing on my computers screen! It’s super fast with no lag. Sound is also changeable so it’s never too loud or quiet, even can change your other desktop audio when you launch it. I highly recommend this for all console users wishing to record or stream their content to a PC!

Easy to install and use to make great videos of games

Purchased this so I can capture gameplay from my consoles for Twitch and YouTube (GoodBadEh if you were wondering) and it works great. Took a second to set up and configure the settings but it works great. If you have a 4k monitor you might have to change the settings to 1920 x 1080 to make it look right since it isn't a 4K card.

This is a really great capture card but not compatible with all PCs because of placement of pcie. Sometimes as in my case the graphics card was in the way with no possible way to plug in unless we changed the motherboard. To get around this we bought the same capture card but external. This we just plugged into a display port and very simply it worked. Just something to keep on mind.

The equipment was an easy install, and the program Is user friendly.

Easy to install in the motherboard and it is instant game view, you really can just set up your consle to the elgato and play while in the elgato software and play it through there without needing to plug in the HDMI output to a TV and don't need to worry about input lag. Recording gameplay is easy aswell. Would recommend getting if wanting to record or stream gameplay.

This capture card works great!! I have used with Nintendo Switch, PS4, Retropie and basically any video game system with an HDMI cable. You can even use it with composite cables if you get an adapter. The software is easy to use to. I was up and streaming in no time at all. The latency is non-existent. I could play off my monitor if I wanted.

Cannot overstate the quality and ease of streaming this provides.
