So, my general thoughts is that this card is definitely a good deal if you are looking to capture Console gameplay. It is easy to install as long as you have basic knowledge of how all your PC parts are listed. The software is also not to bad to install and log into. But, there is something that you need to know if you are looking to capture on the PC side of gameplay and is a common misunderstanding. If you are looking to capture, make sure you have a second pc to run the video through and to stream. If you are trying to use OBS or Streamlabs and/or any other capture software then you will not be able to use the hardware encoding along with these software as Elgato has the software/hardware locked to only their systems. As far as stream quality and performance, it is amazing to see that this card at its' price range performs well as long as your internet and network upload speeds are decent. Regardless, this product for what it's worth than it works well.

Love this card. No issues fair price! I was previously using an hd60s and upgraded to this beast. On a rare occasion I would lose signal with the hd60s that has yet to happen with this card

This little component does exactly what it's supposed to, and can be set up in less than 15 minutes. Works great for streaming from the Switch, or other consoles with minimal lost frames.

If you are looking for a great capture card, here it is. If you want it because of the encoder built in (like me) be sure you are willing to commit to using the elgato software the encoder only works if you use their software, OBS will not use it. Also if you want to capture your party chat on Xbox or PS4 you have to buy a desperate cable “Party Chat Link” only 9.99 but I feel it should have been included for the price.

It didn’t like the PCIe x4 slot i tried plugging it into originally, but that might just be my mobo. I have it on a different bus now and it works fine. The software is so easy to set up, I was streaming within a half hour.

I was having some issues finding a good streaming device for my Switch, but this works perfectly. Pricey, but worth every penny. The software is super easy to use, as well. Very happy with mine.

Easy install and works flawlessly. Using it to stream mario maker to twitch. My old inexpensive capture card the audio would desync. This j have had zero issues.

The product works as intended and I'm very happy for that. However shipping with USPS was super slow. The item was delayed 3 days which set me back a little. I don't blame Best Buy for this however I do recommend that they use anyone but USPS for shipping in the future.

The installation was very easy and the quality is amazing when I stream on twitch/YouTube. The Elgato capture software on the other hand has many bugs and I just use it to record my gameplay when I’m not live streaming. When streaming I just stick with slobs which can be used with the HD60 Pro easily.

If you're going to stream, record a let's play ot just play on your PC, I found that unless you're streaming professionaly this is the capture card to go with.

This capture card works great! It was easy to install. It has near lag free input. The included software is OK, but would not recommend it for any streaming services like Twitch or YouTube.

I was in the middle of a PC overhaul and I decided to throw this in there and makes a big difference compared to the HD60 that I use to have. Virtually no lag makes recording easy. Buy it!

It gives you 60fps at 1080p! Note: Ps4 users, you must got into your system settings and turn off Enable HDCP BEFORE you are able to start capture and stream.

Was alittle on edge about the USB 3.0 version of this capture card so i decided to get the internal model. There almost little to no delay on the instant preview provided by the software.

I've been using this capture card to stream to friends and I cannot recommend it enough! It's easy to use and easy to install. My one negative with this capture device is how it treats older consoles through an OSSC, though that's a niche product.

works very well for what we needed it for doesn't capture in 4k which bogs down slower connections so it was perfect for what we needed

This thing works great, put it in the PC and was immediately able to capture my xbox one for streaming. Super easy to use, no issues what so ever!!!

We purchased this instead of the Black Magic capture card. It works perfectly for the application we were using it in for online streaming videos.
