Alright you good easily get some cheap fabric and do the same thing but this back and retractable mechanism is good for mobility as well as keeping the green screen wrinkled free. Although you still need a good liking for it all to come together. Overall it works well.

We believe that for the quality of the greenscreen we have, and the ease of use does warranty the price but you can also wait for a sale at any time if you believe the cheaper green screens on the market won't meet your needs. Elgato Delivers on their Green Screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent Quality built with strong material and works like a charm. Anything Elgato is reliable. Highly recommended for personal use. The standard size is actually pretty big, so unless you want to include multiple subjects in frame for the green screen i would suggest this one for streaming, personal videos, etc.

Just took it out of the cardboard box and it is ready to go. It raises up and down easily and has a carrying handle equipped for putting it away when you don't want a green screen all up in your living quarters.
