I Love Elgato and this card, I ran into the no signal issue for a bit, and it not letting me do 1440p at 120hz on Series X with wqhd game monitor auto reverting to 1080 120hz. So: (COMPREHENSIVE ANY SCENARIO FIX) turn off YCC 4.2.2 on your console in video modes, set display type to auto detect on xbox video fidelity and overscan page. Open Elgato 4k capture utility, click the cog for settings, go to device and set input EDID to Display, and dont forget to do the same for your prefered streaming software, Obs, Streamlabs, Xplit, ect. Reset everything for the sake of it your signal should have already started working and all resolution options available for your display type will be available, I did all of this and still had no signal fyi, So the last solution that fixed it after everything else stated that needs to be done regardless, If still no signal unplug all your usb ports and swap the one for the capture card till it puts out a signal then replug everything else back in. No issues since.

This was purchased for myself, I stream on a Xbox via twitch, and connect to a windows laptop. The connectivity is pretty easy, just a hdmi here, an ac power cord there. As for storing the recordings, you do need to be somewhat savvy with the elgato program, but overall it is something you can learn via google/youtube. Personally I would reccomend using OBS (available thru steam for free) instead pf elgatos software due to the lack of features built in to OBS allowing more fine tune editing/recording. TLDR-----------------------------------------------------------Great device for small time streaming, easy access to plain recordings of your streams. Reccommend OBS via steam if you want to professionalize your streams/recordings in place of elgato software.

Quality and usage are amazing. I used to be hesitant when i saw the price, but its worth every penny

Great in terms of use , if you stream just plug that in and if you have any minor issues like it not showing up or no sound , normally its cause your camara is off, or just look on youtube , overall fun amd easy for streaming.

I use this for streaming all the time for twitch YouTube discord TikTok kick you can’t go wrong You can’t go wrong. I could I can recommend this to anyone trust me. You’ll love it and you’ll never go back to the cheap ones. It’s worth the money.

Very high quality resolution and easy to setup and work great

Pretty good as a capture card, had some issues with some of the audio capturing on the Xbox series X, still pretty good though, works with the switch as well, got one for my sister since she likes playing switch games on discord with her friends, she hasnt complained yet.

Bit annoying to use at first, but does it's job well. Can be a bit laggy at times, but manageable.

Excellent price, been watching reviews on certain gaming capture devices and this one caught my attention. Been using it for months for my streams and I love it. I got my friends on this device for their streams and I totally recommend it.

WAHOOO Since I got this capture card my Nintendo Switch streaming as been of the charts! I'm so glad I decided to go with this model so simple to use just make sure you know what application you want to run streaming through! Elgato has a application you can use.

Use this all the time for recording clips on my Switch/PS5 Pro and soon to be Switch 2 as well. It also save me time from switching HDMI inputs when I just want to see something. It does have a delay from Console to PC app.

Confusing to set up in obs but once you get it you're good to go really good product would recommend to anybody looking for a capture card

Works as expected it’s elgato legit never have any issues with their equipment. They have YT video to help you set up also.

I love my graphics cards, but now i can finally record my switch games in 60 fps 1080p

The elgato is perfect for streaming any application platform to platform all cords are easy access and inexpensive worth the buy

Streams well and is very responsive. It does seem to generate a 3rd "invisible display" behind the scenes and will not work unless you duplicate displays in the windows settings which causes problems in and of itself.

Works great took some work figuring out how to use. I use it to stream on TikTok video quality is good so far no issues. Great choice.

I got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he loves it for his streaming and playing the game wit this friends he said it doesn’t glitch or messed up his computer and easy to set up!!

This external capture card from Elgato is great! It works well with long hours of streaming without crashing. There are other capture cards I got cheaper, but the saying you get what you paid for held true as these capture cards crashed... A lot! I had to invest in this as it is a little pricier. In the end, this Elgato external capture card is great, reliable, and works will with the streaming software I use. It is well worth my money.

I mean, there’s not much I need to say about this it’s awesome.
