I love this capture card. I replaced this with the Elgato S+. This capture card gave me practically no trouble and work great out the box. I used this card for my ps5 and Nintendo switch. Quality looks good

this product is simple to use and makes streaming to your friends or even twitch that much more simple. I bought this for my nintendo switch when tears of the kingdom dropped and its been perfect ever since totally worth the money if you value streaming to your friend group. I also have used this product for 12 plus hours straight and not a single issue definitely recommend.

Excellent price, been watching reviews on certain gaming capture devices and this one caught my attention. Been using it for months for my streams and I love it. I got my friends on this device for their streams and I totally recommend it.

Recently upgraded to a 1440p monitor and the HD60S+ did not support 1440p at 120 fps. Incredibly crisp recording and streaming quality. Remember to adjust the color settings out of the box! They are really washed out and the video quality looks worse than it actually is because of that.

I've always wanted to stream games but never had the right equipment to do so. I bought the Elgato HD60s+ a while back and it was great. But now that I have recently gotten my hands on a PS5, i thought it might be time for an upgrade. Everything runs perfectly. There seems to be no input delay, at least none that I've noticed. Consider giving it a shot if you're looking to stream with next gen consoles.

I'll start the review by saying that I was in the market for a capture card for quite some time and figured I would pull the trigger on one. Elgato just seemed like a good place to start and I was right. Setup was extremely simple. It was pretty much plug and play and I was capturing without any issues. Well, all but one. I noticed that anytime that I was playing in HDR and attempting to record in HDR, it just wasn't happening. I could get audio/video just fine and all that but recordings just weren't saving. I didn't look into this ahead of time but it's a known thing with users with AMD Graphics instead of those with NVIDIA. I could disable my HDR on my Xbox Series S and it would record just fine. My experience otherwise was spot on and even their support responded in a timely fashion. In the end, I returned the capture card. I spend 3-4 days troubleshooting the HDR issue and came to the conclusion that I really didn't need a capture card. It was more of a want and the HDR issue put the cherry on top. I would still highly recommend this to anyone but beware if you have AMD graphics and want to record in HDR.

Works really well, the set up was fairly straight forward and easy. The only thing that I noticed was sometimes on start up of my switch, the resolution/HDR would be crazy bad and I'd have to restart my switch a couple times for it to go back to normal. Aside from that, its been pretty solid.

I bought this to be able to stream my PS5 gameplay on TikTok. I am very impressed with how easy to set up and use this was. The instructions provided and then a little bit of research online from other users made using this as simple as plugging it in and downloading very little software. The video and sound goes through great and no issues experienced in nearly a year of using it.

I use this primarily for streaming from my switch and ps5 and it does a pretty good job keeping up with the games I play. Doesn't get hot even though I streamed for hours with it and works well with Obs. Highly recommend it if you're thinking about streaming!

I bought this as soon as I could, I have been using the HD60 S+, however it was not working well at all when gaming on my Xbox Series X. Right out of the box, I plugged it in, found it uses the same software as the HD60 S+. I gave it a try and with a little help with my friends adjusted a few settings around to get it prepped for a stream. I streamed CoD Vanguard (lots of video to process) for 3 hours and not one time did it freeze up on me. This is a PERFECT addition to my stream set up to allow for seamless game streaming!

I absolutely own three of these. I love them, very responsive love the pass-through function for a reviewing monitor. I use them for my Canon cameras. They are exceptionally high quality, lightweight, and easy to connect.

[Employee of bestbuy] I Love Elgato and this card, I ran into the no signal issue for a bit, and it not letting me do 1440p at 120hz on Series X with wqhd game monitor auto reverting to 1080 120hz. So: (COMPREHENSIVE ANY SCENARIO FIX) turn off YCC 4.2.2 on your console in video modes, set display type to auto detect on xbox video fidelity and overscan page. Open Elgato 4k capture utility, click the cog for settings, go to device and set input EDID to Display, and dont forget to do the same for your prefered streaming software, Obs, Streamlabs, Xplit, ect. Reset everything for the sake of it your signal should have already started working and all resolution options available for your display type will be available, I did all of this and still had no signal fyi, So the last solution that fixed it after everything else stated that needs to be done regardless, If still no signal unplug all your usb ports and swap the one for the capture card till it puts out a signal then replug everything else back in. No issues since.

I upgraded to this unit after my old HD Capture device kicked the bucket. This is basically an update to that version, allowing 60 FPS capture at 1080p. Since this device also uses USB-C, it has very decent passthrough and you could possibly play your game through your computer's monitor. All in all, the price is okay for this unit and it functions well in streaming as well. If you were using any previous versions of the ElGato software, you'll need to upgrade to a newer software from their website.
