Definitely a good game that isn’t too fast paced compared to the other games out there. While I don’t have a lot of sim experience I find there is always something to do. As previous reviews state the learning curve is large so prepare to watch a lot of YouTube videos to figure out all aspects of the game

First. If you are a fan of space sims where you farm tasks nearly 100% of the time then this is your game. And, this is my game! Oh my goodness this game is right up my alley. Why did I wait so long to purchase it. I have spent so many countless hours playing that I'm being to lose touch with reality! LOL. Not really, but this game has a step learning curve. Expect close to 4-5 hours of becoming basically acquainted with it before truly taking off. And make sure you do the majority of the training missions before just jumping in the game. After doing that and knowing that this genre is your cup of tea, you won't be disappointed. Elite Dangerous is an absolute gem if you're looking for a space sim game. I highly recommend it.

This game is in depth. The learning curve is high and a lot of online resources are recommended for max enjoyment. It can suit many play styles if you like combat, trading, ship building etc. I can easily spend hours playing I love it.

My husband bought this game & convinced me to get a copy too. I am not big on flight simulators (mainly because I'm not that good at them) but I love this game & have already put in over 20 hours in the last week. The map is HUGE & gameplay is completely open-ended, you alone decide how to spend your time: missions, trading, mining, combat. Lots of customization options for your ship & character. It can be overwhelming at first, as there is no main quest line but there's a great community of players & resources online to help newbies. Go find a black hole or see a full solar eclipse from space!

I had some doubts about this game ever since it was a beta. It was one of those games where it looks good but don't want to shell out money for an unfinished product. Fast forward a couple years and now it has been released in disk form as a "Legendary Edition". Within the first 10 minutes, it is aggravating but once you get the hang of it, you'll be flying from system to system in no time. Ships, as well as your pilot, can be customized with various options. Weapons and tools can be added to your ship to make exploration easier and exciting. In my opinion, this is an awesome space simulator that is hard to put down.

This game is overall fun, but it's not for the faint of heart. If you want something to dive into that'll tell you a story and hold your hand through everything, this is not your game. You should like space a lot because there isn't much to do or see IMO other than planets and stars. If you love space like I do, this won't be a problem. It's just not going to have your blockbuster set pieces like a Call of Duty game. This game is also completely non-linear. There isn't really an endgame either. You just do what you want, when you want, which I will say is a huge bonus. There are lots of unexplained mechanics though, so you'll just have to learn as you go.

At first I did not know what I was getting involved in, there is a lot going on in this game! I even bought flight stick for it and made it that much nicer. Love it...

It is good game to play. It is like space simulator. Cool to flying in space.

This game is fantastic. It keeps my kids busy for hours and I would definitely recommend it.

This game is a ultra life like space "sim"\shooter. Its fun to play and challenging. I highly recommend that if you decide to play this game you watch the training video's and do the training missions.

It has been a while since I last played a space sim of this caliber! Elite Dangerous is challenging, especially when using Thrustmaster HOTAS One for more complete immersion!

It’s a good game, takes time to get really comfortable with the controls and such. If you like the game EVE , you will like this.

This is an awesome game when on the PC platform. Controls seem clunky when transferred to a controller on a game console.

Elite Dangerous Legendary Edition X box game is awesome. You can fly your own spaceship & the graphics are great.

Ok soooo it’s tough, but once you get the hang of docking everything will be fine
