I love the size of this cooker. We wanted to be able to coo a whole Sunday chicken dinner and we had no problem. Plenty of room for the chicken and veggies.

Elite Courment has no quality control. The lid did not sit evenly and out of the box; first use, the product overheated.

This cooker does the job. Bigger size helps feed our family of 8 greatly

I like the large size. Cooks well. Programmable so you can have it turn off at a certain time.

I purchased this crockpot and I've only had it a few weeks and had an opportunity to use it twice. I've always had great success with this product in the past - my last one was 18 years old. I turned it on to prepare dried beans with the proper amount of liquid as I have done dozens of times before (with the older model) and on the low setting. After one hour on high, I went into the kitchen to find the liquid at a rolling boil. I turned it off and reset it again to the low temperature and watched it for a few minutes. After 30 minutes it was again at a rolling boil on the low setting. I am going to return this unit as it is clearly not functioning properly. I would never leave the house for any extended period of time with this machine on (and isn't that the point?)

If I could give no stars I would! I purchased this slow cooker in June and it stops heating up in September. Of course, we threw the whole thing in the trash as a normal person would do. My husband contacted the company and they said they would send out a new base but NOT A TOP...WHAT THE HECK!!!! What can I do with the base without the top????? BEWARE, if the base stops working keep the top because they will not send you the complete set, they can't be that stupid!!!! My husband has been going back and forth with them and now they won't respond at all.

We used the Elite Brand 8.5 qt. Crock Pot twice; the second time we used it, the unit would not heat to the cooking temperature. After 3 hrs. the unit was only warming. I would not recommend this brand to anyone. After 15 days they said the warranty was out and not to be returned.

Great slow cooker. Easy to use. Made a roast with potatoes and carrots. Got home after a long day at work to a delicious meal ready to eat. Good price as well.

The front label was hanging off and couldn't be reattached. Poor quality

RECEIVED SERIOUS SHOCK !Putting lid back on & side of my hand touched black pot received a serious shock. Moved me back from counter couple feet. Blew out all fuses in kitchen. Residence is only 10 years old.

Unit worked great for about a year, then, in the middle of cooking a stew, it stopped heating. My last slow cooker was given to my son after 10 years and it’s still working.

Like a previous person stated. This thing on low is just like high. Normally, i can crockpot chili, lasagna with no issues. It burns everytime! Way too hot. Maybe i should try to cook on warm.
