I stay in a motel and was looking for something small to cook on in my room that is safe. This I found to fit the idea. The price compare to other induction cooktops was about half the price of others. Only draw back is I have to unplug it after use.

Induction hot plates need a metallic container to work with. It works great for entertaining guests, but not so well for my home canning pressure cooker that is an alloy, or a ceramic container at the dinner table. The safety feature is that it shuts off when nothing metallic is on top. Very polished appearance overall.

This electric burner is very efficient, easy to clean and boils water and cooks quickly. It is a great way to lessen your dependence on gas if you use a gas stove.

Great for small apartments. Small footprint plenty of cooking power. Very happy with the unit. Perfect for one or 2 people.

This burner is just what I was looking for. I needed a burner that would allow me to do light cooking in my room, and wouldn't blow the circuit breaker... i live in an old building, with inadequate wiring for all the things we need to plug in these days. My only con would be the fan/mechanism in it makes a bit of noise, but it's not really a big deal. I'm very happy with my purchase.
