    I purchase many of the Academy Award nominated films every year. One of the reasons I usually buy them at Best Buy is because of the amazing selection and I know I always can find all of the movies (even the foreign films) at Best Buy!

    This is a movie that you think would be on the more average side because of the director. That is not the case. It can be a little slow but the subject matter needs it.

    I'm a fan of director Paul Verhoeven's work. Have to admit have never seen "showgirls", but this movie has an interesting plot!

    While this movie isn't for everyone, I really enjoyed it. Isabelle Huppert in this is one of her best roles. I saw it twice in the theater, and I bought it when it was released on Blu Ray. It may be shocking to some, and it gets better with each viewing. Not for the easily squeamish or people who get uncomfortable easily. This film has a lot of guts and nerve. I think Verhoeven is incredibly brave, and Huppert is as fearless as ever.
