Having enjoyed the quality of Elvie's double pump product, I wanted to try their milk saving product line. Right out of the box, what called my attention about the Elvie catch was the high quality look and feel. You can tell the high quality of the product by how well it performs, but also by the type of material. The silicone and plastic are both thick and seem highly durable. Compared to similar milk collection products I've tried, the Catch surpasses it because of several factors: - The nipple hole is at the top, allowing for a good amount of milk collection at the bottom (I noticed for me it was between 1.5 - 2 oz) without spilling inside my bra. The product I used before had the opening in the middle (like a donut) and made it more difficult to hold in the milk and any change in upright position would cause a spill. - Easiness to put together: the plastic that holds the milk is fastened within the silicone (skirt), making sure there's no leakage. - Easy wash/ dishwasher safe - Most importantly, I love how discreet the Catch is. You could use these milk "Catchers" as a substitute and as a better option than disposable breast pads during the day. You will be saving money + saving milk for your baby. They are not uncomfortable while wearing, which is a plus. Instructions recommend you take off the catch every 3 hours and allow the nipple to air dy before putting it back on. Some of the things I noticed about the Catch were: - Be careful to keep tilted once removed from bra. Depending how much milk you released, it could spill if you don't handle the catch carefully. - Cannot wear at night, so opt out of wearing them while taking a nap/laying on the couch. - Read instructions on how to properly tip over to store milk and make sure wash, rinse, and sterilize before use.

Comfortable to wear and fit well in nursing bra. Works to save milk that otherwise would go to waste in nursing pad or leak on clothing.

Not the best for new moms, i had an oversupply and would have to empty them after 30 min, or they would spill if i bent over.

They fit well, noticeable when wearing, but not to an uncomfortable degree. Relatively good alternative to wearing nursing pads, as milk doesn't go wasted.

    Great substitute for pads

Instead of wasting milk with pads, the Elvie Catch does a great job catching leaks while you're on the go and unable to pump. My wife hasn't had a lot of chances to use the Catch because of COVID and all. She's not at work as often as she used to be. But when she has a longer day and isn't able to schedule a time to pump, these come in real handy. They're pretty discrete (I suppose it would depend on your breast). I was able to notice them subtly when she just had them on normally but it is really subtle. The fit is good and she didn't have any issues with them slipping or sliding while at work. Overall, it's another good addition to our Elvie line of breastfeeding tools. She'll definitely be using this instead of the pads she had been using before from now on. Recommended for saving all the wasted milk on pads if you need to be away for a longer period and you don't have the ability to pump or feed.

    Simple and Effective

Thie Elvie Catch is a great solution for any moms that have turned to breast pads to help with leaking. The Catch is comfortable comfortable enough to wear for a couple of hours on end without issue. They're also simple to use; being only two parts, they're easy to clean and assemble. And finally, based on the ergonomics and shape of them, they're effective at catching milk passively. The only real minor downside is that they're not as easy to empty as they could be for anyone intending to use any milk captured while wearing the Catch. Overall, though, this reusable product is a great option for any of the moms out looking for a better solution to leaking between feeds.

Like its sibling product the Elvie Curve, the Catch is such a unique and futuristic product that works well when it works, but isn't as reliable as it could be. The fit is great, and it's not uncomfortable. But just something about them isn't perfect. Would still recommend though.

    Great nursing pad-like option

The Elvie catch is extremely leak proof and the design of it makes it very discreet under your clothes because it gives a 'round' look to your breasts, haha. Elvie catch is also super easy to use - it's basically a better breast pad where you collect the milk that you leak in between feedings; and it slides perfectly into my nursing bra. My only con with the product would be that I had hoped to wear them overnight when I tend to leak more but the shape is a bit uncomfortable to sleep with so I have to use my nursing pads still. Overall though, this is a great day option for collecting every drop of liquid gold!

For the first time during a pregnancy, you can go out shopping or to the doctors and not waste a single drop! This Elvie Catch is soft and has plenty of clearance for the nipple. Thats a huge deal considering how tender they can be during this time of the babies development. It's barely noticeable under a bra and when you finally return home you can just pout your "catch" into a bottle or put it away for later!

Such a great concept especially for eco-minded mamas such as myself. The catch is basically like a nursing pad that collects milk either from a let down or leaking during the day. I personally go through my reusable breast pads very frequently during the day, so it was nice to collect that liquid gold that would have otherwise gone to waste absorbed into a breast pad. I found the catch to be comfortable to wear & breathable since it does not form a seal or suction around your nipple. It does only hold 1 oz per catch so you should empty them throughout the day. I did still use my reusable breast pads at night because I feel like the Catch would leak milk everywhere if laying down while wearing them. It was nice to not have a wet breast pad inside my nursing bra for a change! Very happy with the Catch!

    Here's the Catch

Just kidding, there isn't a catch, it does what it says it does and allows you to catch any leaked milk throughout the day while at work, sleeping, etc. while still having them concealed naturally in a bra. Breast milk (according to my wife) can be store at room temp for 4 hours before it needs to be refrigerated so you have some time to safely store any excess milk. This may really only be useful for women who have a lot of leakage through the day, my wife only uses them at work but not at home and more of a precaution more than for catching excessive amounts of milk.

These would have been amazing to have when my baby was first born, especially when your milk is coming in and regulating. I love the fact that there is no suction which could increase production and cause oversupply. I had no issue with any milk leaking and it was easy to transfer milk to storage. I know as baby is weaning this will be a great addition to the process. I look forward to not soaking nursing pads as baby starts the weaning process.
