Elvis On Tour is Amazing. I will watch this regularly. It's better than listening to his albums because you get to see his face! So many of his good songs are on here. I always play music when I clean house but this one is for watching or my housework won't get done! The great thing is we get to see him singing it at many of his concerts. My favorite is watching him sing gospel music. You see a different man at that time. As huge as he was he always knew our LORD and begins and ends his job with his band members like this. Imagine if we did the same at our jobs. The world would be a better place! Pictures attached are of those times. When I saw him live in 1975, I was in 8th grade and he sang a gospel song at that concert. Glad he shared this part of his life with us.

I was too young to be able to see Elvis is his biggest years but I still loved his songs and having the ability to see him perform those hits live before his tragic death.

Classic! A must for Elvis fans! Enjoyed! Recommend!

My music idol since I was a toddler. Loved watching this DVD version. I bought a VHS version in the Graceland gift store "back in the day".

THIS HONESTLY HAD BEEN THE FIRST ELVIS PRESLEY CONCERT DOCUMENTARY I HAD EVER OWNED OR PLAYED MANY YEARS AGO, IN VHS TAPE FORMAT, ON MY NEWLY PURCHASED VHS PLAYER. I VIVIDLY RECALL MY EXCITEMENT AT THE FACT THAT I WAS ACTUALLY IN THE PROCESS OF ENJOYING THIS ELVIS VIDEO PLAYING ON MY COLOR TELEVISION. WHAT IS MOST RECALLED, AS COMPARED TO THE DVD/BLU-RAY VERSION I'M REVIEWING HERE, WAS THE BEGINNING HAD SHOWN A BRIEF COMBINATION OF ELVIS' KARATE MOVES, FROM EACH OF THE FEW CONCERTS FILMED FOR THIS DOCUMENTARY, IN FOUR COSTUMES#LIGHT-BLUE, DARK-BLUE, RED, & WHITE#, WHILE PLAYED TO AUDIO OF "JOHNNY B. GOODE" RECORDED AT A REHEARSAL PRECEEDING HIS SPRING 1972 CONCERT ENGAGEMENTS. THIS, CLEARLY#LIKELY FOR LEGAL REASONS# HAS BEEN ALTERED HERE FROM THE ORIGINAL RELEASE, AND REPLACED WITH REPITITIONS OF THE LIVE MEDLEY OF "TEDDY BEAR/DON'T BE CRUEL. THIS CHANGE IS OF NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE. HOWEVER, THERE'S DEFINITELY AN OUTSTANDING ELEMENT, WHICH CERTAINLY COULD'VE BEEN CHANGED FOR THE BETTER, AS HAS BEEN EFFECTED ON MORE RECENT REISSUED RELEASES OF TITLES SUCH AS "ALOHA FROM HAWAII", "'68 COMBACK SPECIAL", AND "THAT'S THE WAY IT IS". I REFER TO IMPROVEMENTS ON OTHER REISSUED VIDEOS OF ELVIS WHERE, UNLIKE ON THIS TITLE, SUPERIOR REMASTERED HD VIDEO & SURROUND-SOUND QUALITY AUDIO HAS BEEN PAINSTAKINGLY EFFECTED, AND THE EXCESSIVE TINY "BOX SHOTS" OF ELVIS, HIS BAND, THE AUDIENCE, AND SO FORTH HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH FULL SCREEN VIEWS TO IMPROVE THE OVERALL ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCE. IN THIS COLLECTION OF LIVE ON TOUR PERFORMANCES, IT HAS BEEN WELL DOCUMENTED, THERE'S A DEBATE ON WHETHER THE FILM CREW, THE FILM DIRECTORS, ETC., OR ELVIS' GRUELING TOUR SCHEDULE IS AT FAULT FOR HIS SLIGHTLY DISCOLORED SKIN APPEARANCE. THAT WAS MOSTLY A PAST DEBATE, AND I'M CERTAIN MOST OF THESE ISSUES COULD'VE AND SHOULD'VE BEEN CONSIDERATELY ATTENDED TO AND CORRECTED BY THE TIME OF MODERN REISSUE. IN ANY CASE, THIS VIDEO DOCUMENTARY, AS OTHERS, OFFER PRECIOUS MATERIAL AND RETROSPECTIVES REGARDING ELVIS ON STAGE AND ELVIS BEHIND THE SCENES, AS HE IS "TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS" IN THE MANNER THAT ONLY AN ARTIST OF ELVIS' MAGNIFICENT CALIBER COULD. I AM MOST PLEASED SUCH FANTASTICALLY ENTERTAINING AND HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT MATERIAL IS STILL OFFERED FOR SALE. ELVIS NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN.

This is a must own DVD. I highly Recommend everyone to watch this. The dvd is so inexpensive, and the Blue-Ray is worth the extra pennies. Besides you only have one life, and its only money. This DVD takes you behind the stage and gives you a close up on the Kings Life. Theaters were sold out everywhere when this was released, I would know they gave me the boot, and i had to wait for the DVD Release. Long Live The King- Jonzo D Great.

To all the Elvis fans out there, I don't have to tell you what On Tour is all about. Elvis is outstanding in voice and puts on fabulous shows. The DVD is nice to have FINALLY but it could be a lot better if they could have included the out-takes and extras that we all know about. No extras on this DVD and the chapter menu should be by song but is not. Color is slightly better than the original VHS but not to the standards of the REMASTERED "That's The Way It Is". Still a must have for any Elvis fan.

Award winning documentary now presented on hi-def blu-ray. Digibook packaging looks great as well with full color pictures. The King has never looked or sounded better. Must own for music fans.

This was great! Of course, I agree with all the people that have responded about changes. Why change the original? BUT, I often wonder why some albums go to "No Longer available" .

A must have for all fans of rock and roll music. The "King" is excellent!!!!
