My son is 18mths old. He loves this tablet. He gets on PBS kids and he can go on YouTube and play all of his videos. This is easy for him to hold and he just chills in the bed with it. Highly recommend!!!

THIS IS AN EXCELLANT FIRST TABLET FOR CHILDREN. IT IS EASY FOR MY GRANDSON TO HOLD AND IS DURABLE ENOUGH WHEN HE DROPS IT. IT'S EASY FOR HIM TO MANEUVER TO WATCH WHAT HE WANTS OR TO JUST PLAY WITH IT.

Although this tablet runs a little slow, its perfect for kids.
It comes with a rubber bumper type case for it included which makes it really durable. My favorite feature though is its special parental controls that allows you to block or edit whatever you don't want your child to have access to and even allows you to set it up so your kid actually has to answer questions in math or any topic you choose.

I bought this tablet for my 3 year old grandson. He like it very much. It is already preloaded with games, games that are child-friendly. The only downside for this is that the battery drains quickly. It usually lasts for one hour straight use and you have to charge it. The good side here is that the child can quit, and not play games more than one hour. You just have to explain that it needs to be charged.

Prior to purchasing online for my 2 girls ages 4 &2 I had read good & bad reviews. My husband and I had issues with these tablets from the moment we took them out of the box to set them up for our girls. The features & games this tablet offers is AMAZING! The speed & screen quality HORRIBLE! Started freezing on the 2nd day our girls were using them. Our password for the parent side never worked more then once. The battery life is HORRIBLE! Dies within an hour from day 1 after a full 100% charge and no we didn’t let them play on them while they were charging. The battery life is just poor from the start. Our daughters are very tablet savvy already and I thought these would be good for them due to the parental controls that are on them. I WOULDN’T recommend buying this tablet. Waste of money! If parents are looking for a tablet for kids go with the kindle fire kids edition. It’s a little bit more pricey but worth the purchase. That’s what my husband and I did. :) I hope this review helps other parents like ourselves.

It's great for a while until you're toddler begins to drop it. I've had it less than a year and it's time to purchase a new one. It doesn't hold a charge for more than 30 minutes anymore and the screen has dropped into the device.

this tablet is easy enough for my 17 month old grandson to use! It is very durable and you can put parental control on so he can't accidentally buy something.

Since our son loves PBSKIDS we thought it would be ideal.
It has hard rubber Bumpers (just in case it gets dropped) which is nice, PBS kids apps and video's (videos do require wifi) - which are already installed and access to the google play store so you can add more apps of your choosing - what more could you want?
Oh yeah, it has a camera too. =)
Just remember, it is what it is ~ A kids tablet.
Don't expect it to be comparable to a Samsung Tablet or iPad.
Its probably closer to one of the lower end tablets (in my opinion).
It doesn't look great from all angles (screen is low quality), camera is "meh", it sometimes says the memory card is corrupted (a reboot fixes that) and from time to time the video playback can be a little funky (think "stop motion"). Software / firmware / app maybe??
Aside from that, its just ok.
It'll work to keep your toddler entertained in the car / restaurant without you risking and possibly destroying "mommy and daddy's" handheld device.
I would recommend this to a friend --> *after informing them of its "quirks".

Son needed a new tablet. This one was cheap and kid friendly. Battery life is about 1.5-2.5hrs depending on the app usage. Perfect time for me. Charges relatively quickly. Has a tendency to freeze every so often however.

Nice parental control. Its nice that it can still be used offline. Set up was simple. The charger that came with it doesn't seem to fit great, it was kind of hard to get but a cell charger works fine. Does seem to need charged often

The playtime pad was PERFECT for my 4 year old. It already came loaded with games and learning fun and it was also super user friendly when it came to downloading new apps. I especially love the parent security (must enter email & password to access anything other than the child settings). Most of all it is bright colored and so durable because let’s be honest, when it comes to 4 year olds, bright fun colors and durability are a MUST!

I have one of these for three of my grandkids, and they all love it, easy to use, durable, games are great for pre-k thru 1st and beyond. Easy to connect to wi-fi, easy to download add'l games. They love using the camera to make video's too!

I just bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Only used it a few times, so I'm still trying to figure it out. The battery seems to die pretty quickly, but I think I need to adjust the setting, maybe there possibly a sleep setting so it goes in sleep mode if it wasn't used in a certain period of time??? Will update when I have used it some more ;)

This tablet is good for toddlers overall. The pre-loaded apps are great and best of all educational. The tablet itself is pretty sturdy. My kids have drop them several times and they are still in good condition. I also like that you can download other apps. The only thing is that you have to use them in parents mode.
The resolution is not the best but good enough for your little ones. The processor is kinda slow. It takes long to load the apps. For my toddlers the loading time is a big issue since they were used to speed of my smartphone. Overall is a good tablet for someone that doesn't want to spend a fortune but keep the kids entertained.
