I am an avid tea drinker. But my tea sometimes used to get cold as I would get going and forget about it. This mug fixed that. Now my tea stays warm for quite a bit longer and at a good temperature too. The Ember app does have some issues loading at times. The battery life on the cup is only about an hour when its off the charger. And the last few sips of tea are usually really hot because it's close to the heating element, but overall, small complaints. I'm just going to buy another charger for my desk to use as a coaster.

Before Ember, I would have to reheat my coffee after adding cream and milk. This mug brings my coffee back to the right temperature and keeps it there. There is a light in the base of the mug that you can change the color of, so that you know which mug is yours. I do wish that it would stay the color that is selected and not change to white, which indicates that mug is fully charged. That way, when more than one person has one at home or in an office, you would always know which one is yours. That said, this is a great product that is actually useful. Love it!

I haven’t realized my coffee is getting cold until I started using this. It’s easy to use and app is quite self explanatory and good! Mug itself comes with a saucer to keep it warm but it’s not microwave friendly.

I bought this item for my wife cause she takes a long time drinking her coffee and it always gets cold on her so I wanted to see if the ember mugs work. I was not going to pay 100 a mug that’s just crazy but I got both on deal of the day and they came out 100 for both. A little better. But we are satisfied with the product keeps the coffee at a great temperature and she is able to finish her coffee only downside is that the battery life last about 30 mins at most. Half hour short of the box states.

This is a nice treat. My only cons are the battery life is soooo short...If I don't bring my charger to work I will have cold coffee 45 min to hour later... I wish it was not as easy to scratch. I have had it a few weeks and it's marked up :(.. Other than that, having hot coffee for more than an hour at work is nice. Only 2 cups a day!!

I love this mug on days when you can just sit around and read and not have to microwave your coffee thirty times. I do find that the mug looses a charge rather quick so I keep the saucer near by to keep recharging the mug. It is pretty awesome though. I like that even if the coffee in the carrafe gets cold the ember mug will even warm your coffee back up to whatever temperature you prefer. And finding your perfect temperature is a breeze!

If you enjoy having a consistently hot cup of coffee, tea, etc., this is a neat plus to have. With the free software app you can adjust the temperature to your individual taste/needs. Only one, but minor complaint. Do wish it could/would hold a charge longer than it does. Can make it through a couple of cups of coffee...and then it's done and needs to be recharged.

I love this mug. I use it every day. I set my temperature via an app on my phone. Battery lasts for about an hour. It turns out my favorite coffee temperature is 142 deg Fahrenheit. I did a little bit of trial and error to come up with 142degF. Once you set the temp using your phone app you don't have to use the app anymore. But if your willing to wait until your coffee is at the exact temp you set, the app will notify you.

Upon hearing of this product, I was initially skeptical. I mean, who would actually find something like this useful? I decided to pick it up and try it out and my oh my, I never thought that I would appreciate having my drink still being warm 30 minutes after making it as much as I do now. I don't regret the purchase. The size is good as well since I am trying to limit the amount of caffeine I consume. Overall, happy with the purchase. The battery doesn't last very long though but that's ok considering that it'll just be at my work station!

I tend to take my time drinking my daily cup of coffee and i kept finding i was constantly putting it back in microwave to heat or drinking it too quickly. The Ember keeps it at a pefect temperature and allows to drink my coffee at my pace without going back to reheat. Only think i would to see is if they could have a slightly bigger cup size of 12 or 16 oz.

You get exactly what you pay for when the app is functioning, the ability to heat your drink to an exact degree. There are times when the app malfunctions and cannot connect with my mug. These bug usually don't last longer than a few minutes.

I know people complain about the battery life, but seriously... think about how you drink your coffee. It’s usually at your desk, on the couch, or in bed. There’s always a table near you. Buy an extra coaster or 2 and place them where you are... then between sips, put it on the charger. It’s not in your hands the WHOLE time. My coffee is hot for hours this way and I can still go where I need to

I bought this for my wife who always gets caught up in her work and forgets to drink her coffee. She's had this mug for 2 days and absolutely loves it! They are pricey for coffee mugs, but remember the tech inside that make them more than that. Plus, I got 2 in a Deal of the Day offer that saved me some money.

The Ember mug does a great job of keeping coffee warm as you are up and about in the morning—or whenever. The only irritating thing is when the app will not connect with the mug, but closing it out and starting it again usually does the trick. When drinking out of a normal mug, you notice how quickly it will cool.

I love this mug and I use it almost daily it keeps any liquid you put in at the perfect temp at first I wasn’t sure if the highest temp of 145 was enough but now I know it’s more than enough my only gripe would be the size as the copper mug does not have any bigger sizes

Bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Definitely keeps the coffee warm. The 10oz mug is a little small for our liking and I would definitely recommend the 12 oz size instead. Overall great purchase considering I bought it on sale.

Works great as you would expect. It would be nice to have more battery life. It tends to run out about the time I am finishing it. Kinda wish I had the 14 oz also, 10 is a little small, but still pretty handy! No complaints on the functionality of the product.

This is a great mug; fun to operate and practical. It turns out that i like my coffee cooler than most folks, but that’s okay. The Ember mug lets it get to my optimal temperature then holds it there until I finish. Without this mug, there was a limited window of opportunity for me to drink my coffee where it was neither too hot nor too cold. The find light integrated into the mug is pretty cool for some reason. I would have given five stars if not for the fact that the Bluetooth frequently needs to be re-paired. If you’re having trouble, delete the app from your phone and start all over. So far, that always fixes it but it’s a hassle.

it was a gift for my wife. overall does its thing, her only comments have been the small size and does not last as long as she would like. Not sure why it takes so long to drink a cup of coffee! Will try the traveller size MUG2 next.
