Now that I work from home occasionally, I found that my coffee got cold during work calls (because time flies). This mug keeps coffee hot for over an hour, and it even charges on its stand with coffee in it. Very happy.

I got it as a Christmas present for my Mother and she absolutely LOVES IT! She has always liked her coffee hotter than usual and says this keeps it “piping hot” all day long!

FIRE/ELECTRICAL HAZARD

Be warned and do not leave charging around papers or other flammable items. I ran into two issues with this mug. 1) Electrical contacts on the coaster broke and would not charge the mug. Ember replaced it under warranty, good job ember. 2) Mug and coaster overheated and burnt holes into the coaster and corroded the mug charging contact overnight. Luckily nothing caught fire but it is definitely a real electrical/fire hazard! Ember does not cover this under warranty so be warned. They tried to make me pay over $100 for an “out of warranty” replacement mug. Thanks but no thank you. My mug is less than a year old. (See photos for electrical burn holes on coaster and corrosion on bottom of mug.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BUYER BEWARE!!! 1st off: Will the mug keep your liquid warm/hot? - YES. 2nd: Can you adjust the temp to get your desired temp? - MAYBE? The point of having this mug is to be able to keep your liquid at a optimal temp for your use and this doesn't do that very well at all! The problem is the app not connecting to the mug no matter what you do. I have an Android phone - OnePlus 8T. The troubleshooting on the ember page walks you through turning off your Bluetooth and the app which neither helps or solves the issue. I will say the app installed onto my phone and worked the 1st time I tried it yesterday. This is day 2 and the app is not doing any thing except telling me it can't find my mug. I'm not going to try to uninstall/reinstall since that goes against the point of having convenience of the mug and app. The mug will continue to keep your liquid hot although there's no way to find out what temp it's being held at since the app doesn't work. I'm on the latest version of the app 3.4.1 and I'd recommend reading the Play Store reviews about this app since it's the MAIN FEATURE of having the mug. I want a refund and I'm telling all of my friends to stay away from this... I was going to buy the travel mug for a friend until this experience.

Its a game changer, as my coffee stays hot all day if I leave it on my coaster. I also got a lid for it, not overly impressed by Ember's official lid, it isn't leak proof but it does extend the time the battery lasts.

It keeps temperature for well over an hour and i can use it several times a day as it charges pretty fast! The sturdy, weighted bottom and the width of the handle make it the perfect cup
